This is my favorite healthy, Mediterranean place in the City and I have the joy of living so close! I love the lamb burgers and sweet potato french fries as well as homemade humus and the pine nut pulled chicken and egg wraps, mmmm. The sweet and savory makes me crave some right now!(I shouldn’t write food reviews before lunch.) I used coupons $ 50 for $ 25 and it was so much food and made me soooo happy! Thank you, Melody Café! I hope they are always around!

Sweet family-run neighborhood place. I’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times and been very happy. Generous portions and great value. Favorites: Eggplant salad may not sound like much but seriously one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Fresh, crispy, creamy, savory — it’s got everything in balance. Baba ghanouj also spectacular. Friendly owners and staff. They put the love in what they do. I hate to see the negative reviews based on one botched delivery. This place needs to stay around!

Do not order from gm this place! So I ordered dinner from here yesterday. They said 45−60min to delivery it was 100min. While this is annoying it was not the real problem. When the delivery finally arrived all food was ice cold! If I wanted microwaved food I could have eaten a frozen meal. So after microwaving the food I paid for to be delivered warm! I realise the pizza while looking good on top was burnt black at the bottom yet the dough was not cooked through. I will never order here again as it felt like I could have just taken $ 25 and ear that paper, it would have probably been better than the food I received.

So gooood!!! Had a groupon, came in at around 1 pm, it was empty which is surprising because the food is incredible! Everything tastes fresh and the beef and lamb are halal which is a definitive plus for me! Also, the staff is super friendly!

Melody seems like a solid neighborhood restaurant with good food when you don’t feel like cooking. My favorites are baba gannouj, and the falafel salad with tahini(love that it’s kale)! The Classic Lebanese Grill with lamb surcharge was pricey compared to another place I go to, but overall I’d come again.

We went with a groupon. The lady was really nice. The service was also good. The place was pretty empty for a Fri evening. However, the food was pretty mediocre to not good. We ordered the appetizer combo, which had the hummus, baba ganoush, falafel and pita. It was actually not bad and we looked forward to our meals. Of course, when we got them, they were just ok. We ordered the veggie mousakka and Foule. The foule was flavorless(i didmt eat it after a bite) and the mousakka didn’t taste authentic. I think the place has a lot of potential and could use a bit of a makeover… and maybe the TV blasting nonstop videos of Whitney Houston music video would be the obvious thing to drop first. It wasn’t the worst meal I’ve had. But I definitely would never crave it or go back.

Disappointed. Ordered through Unilocal.Got text that order was in process and would be here in 45 minutes. Called restaurant 50 minutes later and they said«oops sorry I forgot to check for online orders I see it now so it will be an hour» Just stupid mistake leaving me hungry

In an effort to find restaurans that have vegan options, we stumbled upon Melody Café. Dave ordered their Melody vegan burger with sweet potato fries. He really enjoyed the burger and the fries were sweet and crispy. I ordered the Melody Curry Chicken with saffron. It was just the right spice and the chicken was very tender. While waiting for our food, we were given warm pita bread with some excellent home made hummus! I’m really happy we found this place. We will be back. Oh! I forgot to mention, they do brunch all day, everyday!

Yum! I get delivery from here about once a week and am so happy to have found this place! The hummus is so good as are the falafel and the Lebanese plate!

I ordered delivery so I cannot speak for in restaurant service. The falafel wasn’t bad, but I’m sure they were very tasty warm. The hummus was the second best in the city, which is saying a lot. The greek salad however was a big fat fail. Let’s start with the base of the salad, which wasn’t lettuce, it was kale. Not my favorite and not at all what I expected. Then we move on to the sundried tomatoes, too sweet for the salad. It just wasn’t a greek salad. My husband ordered the gyro wrap and was pretty disappointed. He felt like it was more of a wrap than a gyro. The major draw for me, and this is a big deal, is that they offer gluten-free options.

I was able to score a Groupon and join some friends here for dinner. This an amazing Lebanese/Mediterranean place with great, friendly service and amazing food. We were asking a few questions about the menu, and our server joked that we should just close our menus and let her order for us. Although we did order, but ironically, we ordered everything that she suggested anyway. We had a great combo appetizer platter with hummus, baba gannouj and the most amazingly crisp and moist falafel ever, with homemade pita bread. YUM! We then all shared the classic Lebanese grill with chicken, lamb sausage(only $ 1 more to add the extra meat item) and grilled onion and tomato with saffron rice. It was a flavor explosion. We also shared the Musakaa with lamb, which is kind of like a Mediterranean lasagna with eggplant. It too, was simply divine. We can’t wait to return!

One of the best mediterranean places I’ve been to. The grilled chicken breasts were some of the best I’ve had-tender, juicy, with just enough flavoring to melt in your mouth. I wouldn’t get the dolmas again(too salty), though I’m not big on dolmas anyways. Lebanese salad was good, and the hummus was filling but not too heavy. Labnah was just soft enough.

Just came here for brunch with the husband this morning(courtesy of a Groupon deal). He ended up getting the vegetarian curry, while I ordered the salmon with kale salad. We did have a special request for the curry, and the waiter was able to accommodate us without any problems. In fact, he even recommended some substitutions for us, which helped with our ordering. When the dishes came out, we were both pleasantly surprised with how tastey it was. I had never tried Lebanese honey before, however it was part of the dressing of my salad. My husband’s curry was very good. Overall, we’d come back again. The service was great, and the food left us wanting to try other items on the menu as well.

Great service and the food was very good. Our server was nice and made some suggestions we went with them and we enjoyed it. I like the menu it had a Medetterian influence and if that’s not your thing they have burgers and pasta dish. We will be back again

Fresh sound. Started with dinner: Lebanese grill featuring huge cubes of delicious seasoned grilled chicken and grilled tomatoes plus a few pieces of steamed broccoli and pita. Loved the smooth and creamy homemade hummus sample too. Continued with brunch: Egg white(thanks!) omelette with rich homemade turkey and eggplant, small side of fruit and single tortilla. Also served with a Middle Eastern yogurt called labneh. Not too sour. Texture like cream cheese. Added a rather good accent to a rather great dish. Dinner was $ 16 and breakfast was $ 13 plus tax/tip. Bit expensive but worth it. Food consistently fresh. Service from Leanna consistently friendly. Lot has changed in four years. Including one fresh new star.

We ordered from Melody Café on GrubHub. It came within an hour, but it was pretty cold. In our order: Lamb Kabob Wrap, Beef & Lamb Gyro Wrap, Falafels, Tzatziki Salad and a side of Pita Bread. I love Mediterranean food, but this place left me a little wanting. It was good satisfying the gyro craving but that’s about it. It was cold, dry, and a bit empty for the large amount of bread(we even requested offering to pay extra for a little more meat in each of our orders). The falafels required a hefty dip in the sauce or a gulp of water to wash down, the Tzatziki was watery and the side order of pita bread was crumpled up in some tin foil. Meh. Good for late night delivery order after a night out, but otherwise I don’t think I’ll return.

After the response that I received from«Leanna L. I am even more disgusted with this Restaurant and the waitress. I will be contacting the better business Bureau. Customers leave positive or negative reviews so that the restaurant can improve their service. Not so that their waitress can be rude to anyone who didn’t think her service was as good as she thought it was. This is the only restaurant on Unilocal that has employees responding like this to paying customers.

My favourite type of restaurant: quirky hole-in-the-wall with lots of personality. Leanna, the current owner, used to work under the previous ones, and decided to turn Melody Café into something more. She really loves what she does, and cares about each and every single customer who comes through the door. I’ve ordered take-out, delivery, and catering, and it’s been absolutely delicious every time. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and nothing compares to the warmth of a nicely cooked meal full of love. Their piping hot falafels are amazing, and I could eat their baba by itself with a serving spoon. The pita is perfect in size and texture, and always fresh. There hasn’t been a single item ordered here that I wasn’t thrilled with, or a time where anything was missing/wrong out of our large orders. Given how hard it is to park in this area, you can normally give them a call when you’re on your way to pick up your food and they will tell you if the spot in front of the restaurant is open. If you’re feeling creative or just have the musical talents, there’s also a piano by the sidewalk where you can sit and play, how adorable is that?

I’ve had lunch at Melody Café twice and had the falafel salad(bed of sweet kale and Lebanese salad with diced tomatoes, onions & mint) and side of babaganoush(drizzled with a little olive oil, two plump green olives planted in a creamy sea of deliciousness) accompanied by a basket of warm, soft pita bread. Absolutely delicious! In a spare yet inviting little café, you can find a variety of delicious dishes; this spot is vegetarian heaven. Yet carnivores will find the sweet spot that includes smoked chicken and pine nut sandwich wraps and lamb moussaka which I can’t wait to sample(this is no simple dish to make– I’ve made it, it’s a marathon not a sprint, baby!) Melody Café is an unassuming spot with very delicious food, emphasis on organic ingredients. Great for dine in, take out and(limited) delivery. I recommend.
