I have a love hate relationship with this place as I live right across the street. I adore their broccoli burrito. However, the hours they keep make it completely useless to me and anyone else who lives there. 8 – 4 Monday thru Friday means they only serve people who don’t actually live in the neighborhood. I’ve stopped coming here not out of principle, but sheer lack of hours available to make it said restaurant. Do the owners realize that people live in the neighborhood and would like to buy their food? whatever. They simply won’t get any money from me because they are not open when I can be there to buy stuff. Their loss.

For my money, the best lunch place in the neighborhood. It’s not so much that it’s the best food(though it is some of the best food I’ve had at any price in the immediate area), it’s that it’s super cheap, not that unhealthy, and fast. Some say it’s a bit bland, but I think it’s all a matter of asking for what you want. If you like it spicier, for example, then ask for more of the spicy salsa, which I find plenty flavorful and far from overpoweringly hot. I also think the staff are nice, and the horchata’s both good and cheap. I’m probably grading on a bit of a curve to give it five stars considering how good food is in the City, but it can be seriously a challenge to find good cheap food in startup-ville near AT&T park. This is definitely my go-to place when I want a good meal for cheap in South Beach.

Stopped in for a breakfast burrito. A cook was prepping tomatoes on the grill and I noticed a tomato with a huge mold spot. I pointed it out and was dismissed«No mold! No mold!» I insisted and cook removed the tomato from the grill without any acknowledgement of me or the issue of serving moldy produce. The messed up the order on my to-go breakfast burrito which was meh at best. I won’t be back. Food safety is no joke!

Stepped into this restaurant because it looked appealing from outside for a quick meal. Burritos were not good at all though. I would only give it 2 stars because the salsa Bar was very nice. But otherwise nothing good :(

A perfect place for Mexican food. One fine afternoon found this place for lunch & it didn’t disappoint me. A very efficient & cheerful staff serves you one of the best Mexican food in the area. Don’t forget to try their wide variety of flavorful salsas, just love them.

decent burritos, good location. Nice staff. Great salsa. Price is what’s expected in the area, bout $ 10 a burrito. Nothing really stands out about the food but the overall experience is super chill and communal, that itself deserves a good rating. It gets busy during lunch as most places would but the lines move fast because, well, they’re burritos.

This is the best quesadilla in SF. Tacos are ok, burritos are totally decent. But Quesa Freakin Dilla —

If you are looking for the best Calorie per $$ ratio in South Park/SOMA this is the place to go. Its dependable, fast and fresh. My go to is a super burrito bowl or the tostada. Those run you about $ 7 – 8 depending on what you add on. Their minimum for cards is something like $ 8.50 and works out if you go the super burrito route, if not just get a soda or a side of something. Ask for free chips!!!

This is a review for the back grill. Yes, there is a grill in the back where everything is made-to-order so don’t be a fool and get in the long line that forms up front for all that ready-made stuff! The carnitas and chorizo tacos here are flavorful and delicious when it comes sizzling off the grill. Although even without a line, the back grill still takes a while. Be prepared for a 15 – 20 minute wait during the lunch rush. Cash only if your order is less than $ 10.

Decent inexpensive burritos Currently, I am a budget traveller so this place was upto the mark for the price. It’s in a quite and good neighborhood as well.

This is the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Hands down. I live here, and I’ve tried them all. For breakfast burritos I recommend adding sour cream and pico, and it’s heaven. Their salsa bar is better than most. Their staff are really really sweet. I come in regularly and once the guy forgot to charge me for the add ons, he said no problem if I pay next time, and I did. Highest recommendation. Don’t be deterred by a long line(out the door), it moves fast!

My go to spot in South Park for burritos. They are only open for a short window around lunch time and the line is usually out the door — but dont let that discourage you. No matter what the line moves fast. Step into the left and you hit the counter — burritos and plates. skip the line and head straight back to the grill(there is never a line here) — order fresh tacos and quesadillas, meats grilled on the spot. i come here at least 1x/week and the average wait time is 5 – 8 minutes. $ 8.00 minimum for credit cards and there is seating for ~20 people inside. grab one by the window: interior seating gets contested with people waiting in line. I dont like staring at ass when i am trying to eat… large selection of meats, plenty of lunch options, something for everyone. when the sun is out, head across the alley and grab a seat on the lawn or picnic table — mid day picnic’s are awesome.

I’ve been a long time customer(about 7 years now) of Mexico au Parc thanks to the delicious burritos and friendly/fast customer service. If you work in the South Park area or really anywhere near the ballpark, this is hands down the best taqueria you’ll find. Even if you show up after 12/12:30PM when the lines are long, the service is quite fast. My personal favorite is their«Azteca Burrito,» which is what they call their wet burrito; the combination of enchilada sauce, guacamole, and sour cream are stellar and the create a depth of flavor that sets this apart from most other one-dimensional burritos from other taquerias. BEST lunch burrito in the area, hands down.

Good value for the SOMA area. This place does get packed though so you’re probably better off getting to go. The staff works quick and are friendly though. I also like how they have a salsa bar & don’t charge extra for chips and salsa. The flavors are a little on the bland side though, but my dining companion, Janice C. said that’s because they don’t put that much salt then, & that’s good for everyone’s blood pressure! I got the Aztec burrito which is their version of an enchilada burrito with guac and sour cream. It was huge and I believe around $ 8. I got it with carnitas which were moist. She got the chicken mole which she enjoyed but actually was in a green verde looking like sauce. Again since they don’t put much salt on the food it was a little on the bland side. It’s all give and take, right? It’s a good option to have in the pricey SOMA area. I would be open to coming back to try a different burrito or another item.

I’ve eaten here for lunch twice. The burritos are really tasty and really fast. Would have given it more stars but had a very slow experience with my girlfriend when she ordered fish tacos from the grill. It’s a little nitpicky, and maybe it was an off day but getting a burrito wrapped up and paid for in 5 minutes and then sitting around for another 15 – 20 for tacos thew off the stars. Seems like they could improve their queue a bit and make the experience better.

3.5 stars A cheerful space with efficient workers and healthy Mexican eats get my stamp of approval. Yes, indeed. You heard me. I ate HEALTHY here! I enjoyed the green chicken mole plate with rice, black beans and a side salad which can be had for only $ 10!(SF standard nowadays!) Do grab extra verde salsa from the not-so-impressive, but decent salsa bar and pour it on top of your food. Personally, I found my dish a little bit bland, but I was actually glad that it wasn’t over salted. They throw a bag of chips for free, I know, it doesn’t exactly go along the line of our healthy theme. but I’m only human ;) Mexico au Parc fills the void of South of the Border cuisine in this area. I like it. Maybe next time, I’ll try one of their huge burritos.

Its one of my top 2 burritos in The City. El farolito makes the best dinner burrito, but this place makes the best lunch burrito IMHO.

This review is for their take out order. When I walked here, their grill broke unfortunately that morning(things happen). The guy was very apologetic that i couldn’t get my breakfast burrito, but somehow still managed to get me a quesadilla(I was planning on making my own breakfast taco at home). Unlike a lot of other places I’ve been to, the quesadilla was made perfectly and was still good when I got home. Meaning… it was not overly greasy but had just enough cheese. They also filed wrapped y other tacos to keep it warm. I’ll definitely come back!

Parc place. Coveted Monopoly card: Coveted Mexican cuisine: — Tortas big enough for two meals and filled with juicy, mild chunks of almost shredded chicken, lettuce, beans and salsa packed between thin, flavor soaked borillo bread. — Burritos with large grilled tofu squares brought to delicious life with ranchero sauce, black beans and salsa in a wheat tortilla. — Omelettes with the perfect mix of egg whites(thank you!), homemade potatoes(kindly swapped for rice and beans), onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. Everything was $ 5 — $ 7 and includes sour cream, avocado and cheese if you’d like. Consider it highly valued culinary property.
