Michael DeMatty

This is way overdue but he gave me a tattoo that really has defined my life. It was his creation and he talked me into the colors but I agreed to his genius.
The after effect has been everything. I honestly got my tattoo for my mom but I have grandmothers talking to me about it. It’s a work of art that is mine created by Michael and it’s everything. I owe it to his magic. Thank you.

I just got a gorgeous tattoo from Michael and I can’t recommend him enough. Michael is professional and focused as well as absolutely expert in his linework.
I had my first consultation with Michael about a month ago. I came with a formed idea and Michael clearly articulated what additional information (e.g. measurements and dimensions) I could provide him to facilitate the process. This helped me hone the design prior to getting the tattoo and was really useful.
I came in for my tattoo and Michael was kind and welcoming. He was also extremely relaxed, which puts you to ease during a multi-​hour session. We spent quite a bit of time nailing the pre-​tattoo sketch to make sure everything was in order. Michael was thorough and his work was impeccable. I love the tattoo.
I would go back to Michael in a second and would recommend him to anyone looking for a tattoo in the city.

My sisters and I decided to bite the bullet and finally get the tattoos we’ve been talking about for years! Being a tattoo virgin at the age of 34 you can imagine I was a bit nervous! But Michael was amazing! He helped me clarify exactly what I wanted in my design, he made sure I liked the placement (I even has him re-​do it twice before I was ready for ink). He was totally calm and played great music the whole time. He is professional and adheres to the strictest standards of hygiene. I’m a convert!
