I have two very physical jobs and have repetitive issues with my right shoulder. Sessions with Michael have alleviated pain and taught me I was using my shoulder incorrectly. I noticed a difference in my body right after out first session. My entire shoulder girdle felt softer and more at ease. Michael is knowledgable, he has a calm and professional demeanor and provides a safe and comfortable environment for bodywork. He definitely has a gift and I would highly recommend this type of bodywork.

A couple of weeks ago I went to go see Michael to help release and relieve the strain and tension around my upper body, specifically my neck and shoulders area. I am a private chef and work on my feet all day, sometimes 14 hours straight, and have noticed that my body is morphing into a posture and state of tight and tense. I met Michael through a meditation class and he told me how he incorporates somatic therapy into his bodywork and how powerful Rolfing can be to help release these stored patterns /​«traumas» we accumulate over the years. This method of rolfing sounded really fascinating to me. And though I’ve heard it can be painful, Michael responded well to my needs and adjusted accordingly.
I have done other modalities including accupressure, accupuncture, and chiropractic, and Michael was wonderful in that he could really work both intuitively and structurally and noticed a shift the next day. Those tight knots and tight energy were beginning their undoing process and I can see how through consistent work, eventually there will be increased mobility and fluidity. I am grateful also for his calm presence which gives the treatment a healing quality. Thank you Michael! I look forward to working with you again soon.
