Evan is a truly gifted teacher.
He’s got a deep subject matter expertise in various learning styles that is rooted in the most current approaches to cognitive science. He translates this knowledge into a customized curriculum that addresses the individual child, and he then layers on a mindfulness practice to improve focus and attention. It’s his secret sauce.
Evan’s encouraging and warm personality is a perfect fit for my daughter. He lovingly teaches her to focus her attention and to approach each challenge with an open mind. Under Evan’s guidance, my daughter’s reading and math skills have blossomed.
He is sensitive, clever and adaptable. He always acknowledges success in a motivating way with small meaningful gifts and little handmade notes that say «way to go!»
I highly recommend Evan’s tutoring services, he is a gem!

Evan has been working with our 10 year old son for almost a year now and we have had great results. He has an amazing way of connecting with kids (and adults) and has a way of making learning fun. We are grateful that Evan is so competent in many subject including math, english/​writing and Spanish. I also appreciate the way Evan takes a few minutes to practice mindfulness and ground my son before starting work. My son actually looks forward to him coming. I highly recommend Evan!
