Minor Jon

Jon has done great work for me for years. Just call first to verify that he is open.
There are two things he does not do: replace the lining in a jacket and make ball gowns. He has been great about everything else.
His prices seem reasonable, as does the turnaround time. He has done some little things for me while I waited, sometimes without charge.
If you buy vintage clothing, this is the man who can make it fit you properly! And after making the alterations, he will iron your clothes.
He is an old fashioned craftsman, the likes of which are very difficult to find these days.
As the other reviewer noted, he does talk a lot, but just inch your way towards the door or tell him that your parking meter is about to expire.

Very good alterations tailor. Wilkes Bashford outsources their work to him, so you know he’s good. Jon does tend to talk your ear off when you are in his shop, but he’s friendly and does first-​class work.
