The Mullins have been an important contributing part of our neighborhood .They are as honest as the day is long. My experiences with them has been professional and fair.

I had the pleasure of working with Eddie Mullins IV, from Mullins & Company Real Estate Company, on the sale of a home in Noe Valley. Eddie is as good as it gets! I was referred to him through a friend, and after the first meeting with Eddie, I truly understood first hand what a professional, honest, and reliable agent Eddie is. He was realistic and honest, and his marketing of the property was first class, over and above my expectations. The company is very family oriented. I want to thank the whole team… Edward & Linda Mullins, Sandy, and Eddie IV, for a perfect start and an even more perfect finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. Just sold my house in San Francisco and bought a house in Pacifca through Mullins and Company and couldn’t be happier. Eddie Mullins is a very dedicated and knowledgeable real estate agent. I highly recommend him to handle your real estate needs.

These people are the absolute pits. I do not recommend renting from them. They balance on the edge of being slumlords, and from what I’ve heard my house wasn’t the only poorly kept property.
The house I rented on States street had myriad issues from the start. They begrudgingly fixed them, although they definitely did not address all of the issues. The repairs were shoddy at best, and many still need to be made. The greatest issue with the property was when the front of the garage fell off and almost hit me. It weighs a few hundred pounds, and luckily landed on my motorcycle instead of me. The garage was so rotted out that a gust of wind actually knocked the front off. They were not interested in returning my phone calls, and instead of an actual repair, they just boarded the building up to create a serious fire risk with all the garbage and frayed wiring inside. They also would not return any e-​mails or phone calls concerning the damage to my motorcycle, so I eventually just took the repair costs out of my rent. They did not raise an issue about the lowered rent, so I knew they agreed, they just would not admit it.
When we moved out, we were charge for multiple issues that they should have covered on their own including wiring up a smoke detector that was not wired in when we moved into the house. They also charged us to dispose of our neighbor’s trash, charged us for holes in the walls that existed when we moved in (and documented in pictures), did not give us an allowance for the washing machine I brought into the house to replace the broken one they had left in it, etc. In essence, they are slumlords who are just intent on taking advantage of their tenants. Holes in walls and floors at ours and other homes. Plumbing that doesn’t work. Windows that fall out of walls. The list goes on and on. Look at some of their other properties before you rent from them. You’ll see what shape they keep their homes in… TERRIBLE SHAPE!
I’m glad to be away from the Mullins.

I’ve been renting with Mullins and Company for 6 years in Noe Valley, and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with them. They’ve been very gracious and helpful when I’ve needed help — even going so far as loaning me my keys (after showing ID!) when I locked myself out. They’re only a few blocks from my apartment.
