Kristina is the best Pilates instructor in town! I have worked with her before she opened up this studio. Even though I now have to drive across the bridge, into the city it is worth it! The space is very inviting and warm. They have everything you need for a total Pilates workout. Kristina’s instruction is very specific and she takes pride in teaching the movements correctly. Cannot recommend her enough!

When On Cue Pilates opened right across the street from my old apartment, I really had no choice but to check them out. I am so happy that I did and after three plus years of sessions with Kristina I am much more strong and toned. Even after moving out of the neighborhood, I choose to continue training at On Cue. Kristina and Lynne have a beautiful minimalist pilates studio with 3 reformers and 2 Cadillacs, and *all* of the accouterments necessary for stretching and working your core muscles. The environment is bright and airy with large windows and no mirrors. Best of all is the care and attention to detail shown to me as I went through a medical situation that required reassessing my strength and abilities for a while. My doctors even commented on how flexible I was and how valuable pilates was to regaining strength and coordination. Kristina was there every step of the way and I thank her for her patience, listening ability and all of the tiny micro-corrections that helped each exercise«build me up» again. I have also taken a few sessions with Co-owner Lynne and she was wonderful, as well. This is a stellar studio and I look forward to working with these talented ladies for a long while. Brava, On Cue.

I have been training with both Lynne and Kristina at On Cue since I was 5 weeks pregnant. I’m now 27 weeks and I owe them a BIGTHANKS. I do pilates twice a week and am convinced it has helped with my muscle tone, flexibility, balance and strength… Not to mention my ever-changing body! Lynne and Kristina are a joy to train with, they’re very knowledgeable about the human body and pre-natal safety, the studio is clean and bright, and I have to admit that I really look forward to each visit.

Just had my first lesson there with Kristina again after a month long break. I thoroughly enjoy the location, the studio and my teacher. She takes the time to make sure all my movements and my posture are correct for each exercise and incorporated my desire to have it more equestrian specific. After my break I came back wanting to work on strengthening my psoas muscles and she knows her stuff and took good care of me. Yes, private lessons are expensive, but my health is worth it. My body feels great and my posture is improving. I also like that I can come on Sunday mornings.

Kristina Krikes is awesome! I am working on achieving a «hot body» for my wedding and she has helped me look great, increase my flexibility and posture, plus no more cellulite! She kicks my butt but I have fun in the process. Points lost for it being a little on the pricey side, hopefully she will do more mat classes that I can afford!

I started training with Lynne Bernstein about six years ago when she worked in Hayes Valley at Inform. She introduced me to pilates– I was a complete novice before. Private sessions every week was beyond my budget, so she found partners for me, matching not only our abilities but our temperaments, so that training in the studio was always a pleasant experience. Lynne is incredibly empathic and could immediately assess how my body was affected by things going on in my life, some of them quite challenging, and created a nurturing, inventive, and soothing practice. And when I wanted more of a challenge, she provided invigorating sessions, updating them with new routines she learned from her own training. She is protective of her clients and would take steps to prevent excessive noise or anything that would detract from an enjoyable and productive hour. She never watched the clock or lost focus, and I always felt like she was completely centered on my experience as her student I wish I live closer so I could continue in the new studio. I’ve taken a tour and it’s sunny, polished floors, beautiful space, great neighborhood. Just looking at Lynne, you can see the benefits of pilates.

I’ve been trained by Lynne Bernstein as long as I’ve been doing pilates(6.5 years) and she is amazing! The work is always tailored to what I’m in the mood for that day and I walk out of the studio feeling fabulous and refreshed in body, mind and spirit when I’m finished. She and Kristina recently opened On Cue together and they’ve already made it a beautiful studio – great location, too! I can’t give this dynamic duo a higher recommendation!

Michael Smith is excellent. He challenges you yet works with your body. I felt that he was very helpful and answered every question I had. The workout was fun, and effective. I felt leaving the studio that my posture had already improved. If I could afford to take 20 classes, I would. I would recommend Michael to anyone who wants an effective, challenging, and fun workout. He is very knowledgeable.

I came to On Cue after 6 months of training at a studio in San Carlos. I love the clean lines and feel of this former grocery store. But really I dig Michael Smith, a great trainer who is no nonsense and keeps enough new movements to keep it interesting. Prices are on par with market and surprisingly the parking isn’t as much of a bear as I thought. Its a great studio for one on one or duo training.

Lynne Bernstein is an amazing pilates instructor! I have serious knee issues, and she has really helped me gain strength and relieve knee pain. I have been seeing her for a few years, and she and just opened this studio with another instructor last year. It is super convenient on Sacramento Street and Scott — and easy to park when I am feeling lazy. It is large, light, and very clean. A great place to get some exercise — and the prices are very reasonable, too.

I must admit that I was a litte sketical about pilates. It looked like a lot of stretching before I started. After a session with Kristina where I could hardly walk for 3 days afterward(to be fair, I did ask for it!), I’ve changed my mindset. The great thing about Kristina, my instructor, is that she tailors workouts to exactly what you need at that time, everything from a butt kicking workout to core strengthening, and yes, stretching. I’m addicted now and credit Kristina. The On Cue studio is fantastic as well.

Kristina(co owner) at On Cue is simply amazing! She tailors every workout to what I need — stretching, strength building, avoiding injuries, and of course having fun. I don’t live in the neighborhood but I make the trip twice a week for Kristina. Every workout is enjoyable!

Jennifer Charles is FANTASTIC! I have had 2 private sessions with her so far and I HIGHLY recommend her. She is gentle, knowledgeable, gifted and very thorough. I just can’t say enough about how great my experience with her was. I feel amazing after my sessions.
