One Brick Silicon Valley

The silicon Valley chapter has a lot of great things to do to keep you busy.
Its a pretty chill group where everyone pretty much knows each other and make you feel welcome.
They sure do appreciate there volunteers also.
One of my favorite events to do is Full circle Farm .
Its always a great new learning experience plus I am doing something great to help out other too, bonus! Afterwards there’s always the get together at 5 guys which is always fun.
Another one of my favorites are the San Carlos food bank and RAFT.
I“ve become a regular at those events .
I love helping with the food bank because they helped me and my mom when I was growing up .
Helping Raft with the school system always makes me feel good too.
One event I’ve been doing lately called Art in Action is one I’ve enjoyed a lot.
There’s just soo many events, soo many great people and it feels good to help others by doing volunteer work in my spare time.
I’ve told many people about One Brick and I hope they follow through and have signed up for some things.
If I had kids I’d want them volunteering for one brick and growing up to keep doing it.
There’s also a lot of areas to grow by managing events or being an event coordinator.
Hey that always looks good on a resume too.
