One Stop Party Shop

Great spot for wigs and masks for a masquerade or costume party. Came here after passing by on a run and had a costume party that weekend.
The shop has a lot of wigs and costumes for children. Honestly I’d love to bring my niece here and get her some fairy wings or a princess costume.
Anyway, next time I feel like stocking up my box of costumes (something ever San Franciscan should have in their bed rooms) I’ll stop by here.

Was looking for a place to get a wig for halloween in a eye-​hurting color and Cliffs wasn’t cutting it so popped on over to this place. I’ve been walking by for years but never stopped in.
It’s super full of stuff including a lot of wigs in different colors. A little pricier than expected at $ 40 but I had a specific color and cut in mind that I couldn’t find anywhere else.
The owner was super nice and let me try on a bunch of wigs before deciding.

Came in to view the beautiful selection of masks I saw on Unilocal.The owner was very welcoming initially in showing me and letting me try on masks. I tried on over 10 masks because I wanted to find the right «fit». All I can say is while she tried to portray a welcoming hospitality, all of her frustration (that she was trying to covertly hide) was spewing out. She was grunting under her breath and kept telling me I could decide another day and she’d hold the one I liked most. I just got a real feeling of passive aggressiveness. She was acting nice, but being rude at the same time. She kept telling me I don’t have to feel obligated to make a purchase just because she had taken out all the masks for me to try on. Yet, I can sense her rude undertone by her seemingly rushing me to make a decision or leave and come back when I was more firm in my decision. If your reading this review, I want you to know that I read past all your fake customer service. Next time wait until your customer’s leave before your deep sighs of frustration and whispers under your breath. Rude, rude, rude. I left feeling like I will never give this woman my business. I stayed around a while too, just to ensure what I was feeling and seeing her do was truly what my discernment and intuition was telling me. And it indeed was! Just wanted to share my experience!

This place is great and it’s local neighborhood which gives it a real personalized touch. The workers/​Owner are so helpful with all your Wedding Birthday Special occasion needs as well as guide you in the right direction according to your budget

I wandered into One Stop Party Shop on New Year’s Eve and found a great selection of every imaginable party favor. What I found extraordinary was that the owner, seemed to want to make me happy even if she was undercutting her own price margins! Instead of taking advantage of a customer who was desperate for new years eve items, she seemed more interested in making sure I was getting the best deals imaginable. I bought fancy New Year’s Eve top hats and a feathered tiara and balloons and when I walked out of the store I felt like they owners were just excited to be sharing their largess with a happy customer! How many times do we shoppers go into ‘party stores’ and feel like we are being ripped off? Not at the One Stop Party Shop, where I felt like a guy who had won the lottery, by simply having the good fortune of walking into this extraordinary store. They had great costumes and all kinds of party items from birthday parties to just great paper plates and other party favors. If you live in the neighborhood, One Stop Party Shop should be your must go to store for all your party needs, whether it’s for Halloween or just a party for friends and family. I was visiting my daughter who lives on 28^th Street, and she was having a New Year’s party that night and was ecstatic with the items I brought to her apartment. If I lived closer, I’d be shopping there all the time, but unfortunately I live just outside of NYC, a mere 3,000 miles away!

I really love this place mardie and her family really go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need especially for Halloween any of the big stores do not give you the one on one that they do. Love this place will always do all my business with them for my party needs and Halloween.

This store is brimming with fun items for any party or celebration. Halloween is a great time to get a fun costume while avoiding the depressing pop-​up halloween chain stores. Check it out and support a local business with helpful friendly staff!

This place has the best selection of Venetian and masquerade masks that I have found in the city so far, hands down.
They get shipments several times a year of hand painted masks from Venice, which are great if you want something unique and collectible. They are usually around $ 60 a piece. They have even more replicas, which have fantastic designs and are extremely reasonably priced for how great they look. Tons of options around the $ 15-​$ 20 price point.
Every time I go looking for a new mask here it is difficult to chose and tempting to get more than one. Makes you wish there were more occasions in the city to wear masks during the year.

Just walked into this store to buy white gloves for a halloween costume. I was walking my dog, so I stopped at the door and said «Hello» to make sure that it was okay to bring my dog in. No answer, so I picked my dog up and asked if it was okay to bring her in. The lady snarled and said, «Well, what do you need?» With that her dog ran over barking at us. I was trying to explain that I just needed white gloves. She was completely rude and just kept repeatedly asking the same question, «Long or short gloves? Long or short gloves? Long or short gloves?» (The way a 3^rd grader does when they want attention). Between her dog barking and her child-​like bevavior — I said «Forget it» and walked out. I would love to spend my money by shopping small neighborhood stores, but I am afraid that the lady in this store (short with dark short hair) is so RUDE that I will have to go to the Halloween Big Box Store. TERRIBLE LADY! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE.

Just from looks alone, you couldn’t convince me this party shop was indeed a one stop for all things costume related. Who knew that in one of the most residential spots in the Noe Valley was this tiny corner shop, stuffed full of party essentials? I’m pretty certain I’m not the only one fooled by this.
But alas, One Stop is indeed what they say they are. A one stop shop of various party materials, from balloons to costumes to party favors. Depending on the time of the season, the store gets decked out in accordance to the theme. So if it’s Halloween it’s pumpkins, gouls, and witches. Mardi Gras is all things Bourbon Street and the masks /​beads to boot. And so on.
I’m always here for costumes. Whenever work parties or Halloween parties are on the horizon, I’ve learned it’s probably a safer bet to explore here than it is bouncing around to various temporary party spots throughout the city. The prices are a little spendy, but that’s how party shops make their money.
And of course, always call ahead for a specific item. I certainly did and that’s why I keep on coming back.

We had a bit of a mishap with our balloon order. Two of the four balloon colors had been discontinued. So when I went in to pick up our balloons, I was unhappily surprised. The proprietor tried everything to make me happy. How about a big balloon fish? What if we just doubled up on the available colors? Maybe we could fill in the missing colors with standard balloons (instead of Mylar, which is what we ordered). None of her suggestions were satisfying me. Finally, she gave us everything: more Mylar balloons in the available colors and standard balloons in the missing colors and… she gave us our money back. She basically said that she would rather have a happy customer than try to make an extra buck. When I got home with the balloons, my wife was blown away. We knew we had to write this review. It’s the least we can do for such exceptional customer service.
Give this woman your business. You won’t be disappointed and she deserves it.

My husband and I are throwing a Halloween party and of course we are completely last minute with our costumes. We are doing a masquerade and I was too leery to order my Venetian mask online. I went to all the usual suspects that were completely picked over. We found this place and called 30 minutes before they were closing and jammed over to Noe valley. Even though they should have been closing, they gave us the best customer service! Becky and the other owner were so enthusiastic and consultative. They weren’t trying to sell us the most expensive mask, but the one that was most stylish. The mask I purchased just came in today, was gorgeous, and less than $ 20.00. I told all of my other last minute friends to head over there. They had such a great selection that we were in and out in about 15 minutes.

I’ve been coming to this place since the 90s. Whenever I’m back in San Francisco, I always stop in to see what new masks are available. A few years ago, I asked the owner to get me a certain Venetian mask. She not only got me the mask I wanted but she was able to procure a beautiful, counterpart. She assured me that I didn’t have to take it if I didn’t want it, but she thought the contrast would compliment the mask I ordered. That is a testament to the above and beyond service you get here. I’ve gotten numbered napkins for birthdays, big oversized sun glasses for costume parties and a giant afro, well, just because. I challenge you to find a store with this great of a selection and the very personal attention you get along with it. Make sure to stop by during Halloween. Not only do they have every accessory you’ll to need to be the scariest vampire or the most life like human Sponge Bob, but their Halloween window rivals Saks’ Christmas window in NYC. This shop is adorbs and if you’re creative enough, you can put together a costume of your own or buy one already made on the shelves.
The lady was super nice. I went with someone who bought a top hat and some other things. All I needed for my costume was balloon ribbon, so the lady behind the counter just gave it to me. LOVED her kindness. :)

There is nothing but truth in the name One Stop Party Shop. They literally carry anything and everything that you could think of for Halloween. They offer a variety of wigs, capes, scary masks, Venetian masks, and costumes.
I recently stopped in to grab a red superhero cape to complete my Halloween costume. I called in earlier in the day to see if they had any. Not only did they have plenty of capes but they also put it on hold for me until closing. During Halloween, they are open until 10 p.m. which was perfect for me so I could stop in after work.
The costumes, capes, and accessories are all of good quality and it ran me about $ 15. Not too bad!
Thankfully they are seasonal so you can find something fun no matter what holiday or special event you are celebrating!

I LOVE this little store! The woman who runs it is ADORABLE & so is her little doggie. I used to live down the street and loved coming here for party supplies, balloons, masks, all kinds of costumes, plates & cups in all kinds of colors, and she even carries Burning Man gear when that special time of year rolls around. If she doesn’t have it, if the woman can, she’ll special order anything for you in her catalog!
I moved across town and I still come straight her for any party supply needs because I know she’ll have exactly what I want.

I love walking past the One Stop Party Shop, the window display changes with the season and this month it’s SPOOOOKY!
They have wigs and costumes year round, but this month it’s Halloween Central. Spooky masks, sexy costumes, glittery angel wings and red little devil horns, they have quite the selection for your costume inspiration. I plan on putting mine together earlier this year and save myself the scrambling around trying to put something together.
I remember when this store first opened, my sister and I were one of their very first customers. We lived nearby and eagerly anticipated the opening. We could not wait to spend our money here and would just as soon as we got it. My mom gave me a $ 2.00 bill and instead of saving it, I spent it on some kind of fun new toy, novelty item or candy. They put it up on the wall and it stayed there for years.
I still feel like a kid when I shop here. It’s a fun little local business that provides fun year round.

I don’t know why I haven’t made it into this shop before… perhaps the bad reviews scared me off for a long time, but this is now my go-​to party shop! They have *everything*! Balloons, all kinds of themed decorations, cards, costumes, and party accessories like beads, masks, hats, headbands, noise-​makers.
I was most impressed by their amazing selection of Mardi Gras masks — from gorgeous, hand-​made Venetian masks to cheap plastic and everything in between, including some locally made masks. The shop owner was very friendly, helpful and informative about their inventory and says that they keep this amazing variety year round! Wowza — I’m officially a fan!
