This innovative charity has developed many very fun fundraisers over the years. From a dance party, cosmetics line, green fashion, etc … all these initiatives raise money towards helping midwives, young mothers and their children in Africa. The volunteers are encouraged to suggest new ideas and Siobhan Neilland, the founder, is a strong mentor for her supporters to be leaders. OneMama is based in San Francisco and continues to make a difference by working towards building clinics, schools, etc where they are urgently needed.
