Paws in the City

I’ve been doing a lot of research on cat food after 1) becoming concerned about whether the «meat» ingredients in my cats’ food comes from factory farms, and 2) discovering that most vets recommend Science Diet because that’s who sponsors most vet training programs. I was super impressed to find that Paws in the City carries all the brands I independently concluded are the better ones: Small Batch, Primal, Natural Balance, Tiki Cat, Weruva, Orijen, Blue Buffalo… Same with dog supplies. All quality products, treats and litter included — none of the crappy corporate brands. Don’t be fooled looking in — the supplies on the shelf may seem sparse from the window, but they’re well-​selected and great. Whoever is the buyer for this store did an excellent job!
And did I mention the excellent selection of Warriors pet gear?
Paws in the City a tad more expensive than other stores, but I feel better buying from them than Amazon Prime, and for me, you can’t beat this neighborhood location — barely a block away from my building! A great addition to the neighborhood given that Pet Connection II is a bit of a far walk for carrying litter.
Taking the time to make sure your animals are getting a high quality diet is so important — save on vet bills and ensure that your companions are as happy and healthy as they can be.

Paws In The City is a great new pet store in Lower Pac Heights. They carry a great selection of dog food and treats, I’m happy to have a place in the neighborhood to stop by and stock up on stuff for my baby!
