Pierre’s Auto Body

Brought my car in to get a grille installed – Eveline had it taken care of within 5 minutes, and couldn’t have been more pleasant to chat with. Her team did a great job too. I won’t hesitate to go back for any future needs!

Evelyne and the technicians at Pierre’s are fantastic. My bumper had come loose when I caught it on a tall curb. Evelyne thought that I didn’t need to go through insurance as the technician popped it back into place and put a missing pin back in place. Super nice and great service.

Pierre’s is the best. I have consistently had great service there for the 20 years.
Today my friend let her dog jump up on the passenger side of my car. The dog literally scratched up the entire door. I mean maybe 50 nail scratches. It was awful and devastating. I took the car in and they buffed them out in an hour. I was so impressed.
Pierre’s has also fixed my car after accidents too. Always quality work.

They were great! They kept me in the loop with text messages as they fixed the keyed marks on my car. The job went about two days over the estimated time but they called me in advance to let me know what was going on. My car ended up needing special order paint, nothing that they could do about that. I dropped it off easy and picked it up way cleaner than I had left it. Overall very nice people and excellent finished job

I brought in my Mini Cooper because the trunk didn’t open. They quoted me a reasonable price and ordered the spare parts. So far, so good. The day they worked on the car, they called me and told me that they exchanged the trunk lock and even ordered additional parts from the local Mini dealer that day. But they couldn’t fix the problem. So, they put everything together using the old parts. When I picked up the car, I didn’t have to pay anything («We don’t charge, if we don’t fix it.»). I thought that was a fair deal. Here is a repair shop that doesn’t charge, if it’s not fixed and that doesn’t try to upsell you! Hard to find these days. The problem turned out to be an electrical problem that had to be fixed by the dealer (but that’s a different story).

Pierre’s just did some minor body work on my car after my neighbor backed into it. Evelyne was fantastic and made everything happen without me having to worry about dealing with claims adjusters.
The work was done in just three days and my car looked better than new when I picked it up!

The estimate i got for my care was 2 times more expensive than i received at a different body shop just a few blocks away. The lady doing the estimate was kinda rude, she wanted to replace a part that was completely fine and charge 1k. I recommend you compare prices before going with this shop.

My father-​in-​law went to have body work done and everything looked good, but soon afterwards, my FIL noticed that the car now had a leak. He took it back, but they told him it wasn’t their fault and would not fix it. No leak before they ‘fixed’ it and now it leaked after they ‘fixed’ it? Not their fault? I don’t think so!
Recently, my FIL went back after he got hit by another car. I don’t know why he went back to this place, but he did. They gave him an estimate, but when he called them a week later to schedule the work, my FIL let out how much the insurance company paid him. All of a sudden, Evelyne decided the estimate he had gotten a week earlier was too low and that it would probably cost much more than they had anticipated. They could tell all that just from finding out how much my FIL received? Amazing!
I told my FIL to forget about this place and find another shop that will hopefully be much more honest…

Evelyne and Valerie are fantastic. I had to have nearly every panel on my Volvo repaired and repainted. The painting work was top notch (you can only tell it’s not the factory paint if you look really really close), and they took out a few minor dents that were already there at no extra cost.
Even though I ended up having to take the car back for the mirrors (they didn’t go back on properly), they ended up making it right and replaced both mirrors with no hassle and no questions asked. They even footed the bill for a rental while they did the extra work. They’re a business that really cares and stands behind the quality of their work. Even though I hope to never have to use their services again, I won’t hesitate to bring my vehicles back here if I do.

I pulled in without an appointment to get a quick estimate on re-​aligning the driver side door on an old truck I recently purchased.
Evelyne quickly came out to greet me (a total gem, btw). I explained what I wanted, and before I knew it, one, then two of the body techs came over with tools in hand and started getting it adjusted.
I waited in the office and they were finished within 10 – 15 minutes at most. I was happy to pay a minimum labor fee — anything, but they insisted no charge. Super cool and very much appreciated.
If/​when I do need body work done, Pierre’s will have my business.

My driver’s side mirror was hit by another driver. Thankfully she left a note and asked me to get an estimate before she decided if she wanted to use insurance or pay out of pocket.
I came to Pierre’s because of their close proximity to my home, as well as their hours. They open at 6:30am, which means you can go there to have your car looked at before heading to work. It took about 10 minutes to get an estimate.
Prices are average for an auto body shop.
I took one star away because Evelyne said she would call me when the parts arrived, but I ended up having to call her.
My car was ready to pick up the same day I dropped it off. They are a AAA contracted shop, so Evelyne handled the insurance for me. Overall it was a quick and easy fix.

If you HAVE to go in for auto body work, this is the place to go! Fast and friendly service from a family-​run business with great attention to detail. Quick turnaround, fair prices (beat my dealer quote by more than a third) and convenient location make Pierre’s my new go-​to shop!

Wasn’t very friendly at all. I read many great reviews so I gave them a shot. I inquired about a minor repair to my car and was given attitude by the girl in the office. moral of the story… they lost out on $ 1000, go fish.

Probably the fastest, friendliest, and best experience I’ve ever had with an auto body repair show. Unfortunately, I’ve been in a half dozen fender benders (none my fault) and out of all the auto body shops I’ve had experiences with, I can honestly say that this was my best experience ever. From start to finish, Evelyne was there to make sure I got all the things that I needed. She gave me the estimate, gave me an approximate time of when my car was going to be done, and made sure I was all squared away with the rental car folks. Yes, Evelyne is friendly, efficient, and, at times, intense but it’s all in an effort to make sure that your car is taken care of.
I’ve been to other auto body shops that are much larger and fancier (Sterling Auto Body), but Pierre’s definitely won in my opinion. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my car to Pierre’s again if/​when I need some work done to my car (though, heaven forbid it be another accident). Since it is a shop located in the city, you may have to wait a few minutes to get them to shuffle the cars around but hey, Arizmendi is next door and Social Pub is across the street. So no worries there.
On a side note, I thought I had problems with my wipers after I got my car back and before I could even say another word, I was told to bring it in and that they would take a look at it. Of course, once I got there, it wasn’t doing what I told them over the phone it was doing. Either way, Pierre’s staff were just genuinely happy that my car was in working order even if it was just me imagining things. It was great to know that they really stand by their work either way. Also, they polished my very fogged-​up headlamps and now they look like they just came out of the showroom. And they did it as a courtesy since I was getting other work done. It was very nice of them and I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Pierre’s.

OMG! Going here twice for the same vehicle to get repaired via AAA insurance. For the first job, it was perfect. A roof tile fell on my van and smacked the hood. They repaired it good as new.
Now for the second van injury which is a little more extensive: parked van got sideswiped, hit and run. Damage ran from the rear tail light all the way to the front bumper, over $ 5k for a 2003 van! OUCH! Didn’t think AAA would authorize the repairs but they did. The van isn’t back yet but I’m hopeful that the work will be excellent as the first job. I’ll update this when the van is back.
As far as the hit and run goes, the offending vehicle and driver was FOUND thanks to a neighbor’s video surveillance and a little investigation in the area. AAA did the investigative work and will apply all the damages to the other party, so no deductable for me. HOORAY!

Disappointed. I signed up for Unilocal just to give my review because my experience was awful. After being recommended here by my AAA insurance after a hit and run, i Unilocaled the place and read the positive comments from the community and I looked forward to coming here instead of my old Auto Body shop that I always go to (Domport) just because it’s closeby.
Customer Service: –2 Stars. This is probably one of the worst customer service I ever had. I read such great reviews about Evelynne and I was in for a surprise. I came here around 3 with my brother, so luckily I didn’t have to wait. As I was pulling my car in, I saw Evelynne, gave her a smile, but she just ignored me and went back to what she was doing on her comp. That didn’t matter because she might have been busy at the time, I suppose. I went inside and said hi to her and she didn’t seem to acknowledge my presence. As I was talking to her, she picked up her phone and started talking on it… Anyway, I told her what happened and that my insurance sent me here, so she went and looked at the damage done. She took pictures and went back inside her office to give me an estimate. While she was talking to me, my brother and I was standing behind her chair and she asked my brother to sit down because there’s too much ‘body heat’. After that, she asked me to sit down, saying she isn’t used to someone being over her. I’m not sure if I am supposed to talk to her while sitting on the seat that’s about 4 – 5 feet away with her back turned to me, but that was something I haven’t seen before. When doing business, I’ve always talked to people face-​to-​face and have been treated the same so this was all very surprising.
Attentiveness: –2 Stars. Of all the body shops I went to before, I’ve always been given information about what needs to be done and was asked questions regarding what damages I want repaired, etc. However, Evelynne only took pictures, went to her computer and did what she wanted to do. I wanted to mention that there were paints scratched on my side mirrors as well, but it felt like she just really wanted me out of there asap. When she printed out the estimates, I already knew she only estimated the bumpers that were damaged and I had no say in anything. I just gave up afterwards, didn’t bother mentioning the damages that weren’t clearly visible to her, and went back to Domport where I had a MUCH better experience.
Won’t be coming back.

Took my car here a few weeks ago. Had some body damage they took care of it within two weeks and they made easy getting the Rent-​A-​Car .the girls at the front desk very nice and helpful.

If you have AAA, then this shop is perfect. The ladies working here are efficient and sharp – perhaps even intimidatingly so – but they will work with your insurance to do what it takes to get your car fixed thoroughly and as quickly as possible.
Also, they’re located right next to Arizmendi’s! Nothing like eating your shame away from getting into accident with some buttery goodness.

I brought my car in for an estimate to repair some scratches to the side of my car. While the lady who helped me was polite, quick, and efficient, I felt that she was not very attentive to what I was asking to have done. I wanted some paint to be touched up; she insisted the moldings on the sides of the car would have to be replaced completely. I realize Pierre’s takes pride in their work and can probably make cars ‘like new’, but I made it clear I wanted the minimum necessary to be done (and asked multiple times). But she insisted it wasn’t possible to do it otherwise, and of course the estimate was outrageous, consequently.
I have since brought my car to two other places where they were attentive to my requests and proposed to remove moldings, clean and paint them, and replace them– for about a quarter of the price Pierre’s quoted me. I will be taking my car to one of the other places.
I do not doubt Pierre’s does great work, but I would have appreciated more attention to what I was specifically seeking to have done.
