Do not order from this location. The food arrives cold, wrong order, or parts missing. Order a meal deal and they will always forget some part of the meal back at the shop. The claim will go back and get missing parts only to be called and told that they have run out of your order.

Excellent Pizza most of the time! Kind of what you expect from chain pizza, greasy but delicious. Then Pan and Thin n Crispy is on point. A huge fan of the breadsticks as well. Only issues I have from time to time is delivery speed and sometimes the food will be cold or missing something like garlic sauce.

The most horrible place for pizza-i don’t know why I ordered from there despite having good pizza places near my home. The bread extremely thick with very little toppings, and my neighborhood pizza pizza place puts more cheese on regular pizzas than the extra cheese pizza that we ordered. The only things worth eating eating were the honey glazed wings.

I don’t even know where to begin for this one. Ordered around 7:15 pm; called for an update at 8:25 pm. The Pizza Hut person who answered said there was a 3-hour wait. Ok… 10:30 pm rolled around and still no pizza in sight. Finally, at 11:30 I decided to head to bed because why not. Woke up in the middle of the night and realized Pizza Hut just decided to IGNORE my order and NOT deliver! What a joke. Go bankrupt already.

Well, it’s a pizza hut. You know what you are going to get here. Sure there are dozens of «real» pizzerias within a mile or two of this place, but it is what it is and it does the trick when you are in the mood for cheap meh pizza. As infrequently as I get pizza from this location(a few times a year over the past several years), I’ve found them to be inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is well made and the toppings are generous, other times it is not. They often screw up the toppings, but at least when they do they’ll give you the screw up pizza for free while you wait for them to re-make it. That’s pretty cool. TONIGHT’S ORDER: picked up an order placed online through their website. Manager girl behind counter was all attitude, not a pleasant person at all — to me, anyway. She chilled out immediately when I started throwing the attitude back at her. I saw her interact with a few other people as I waited(and waited and waited), and nobody else got the attitude she gave me from the moment I walked up to the counter. As the only white person in the room, best I can figure it was probably racially motivated… but of course that couldn’t be it, because everyone knows only us white people are capable of being racist. The pizza, however, made up for the attitude problem. A very pleasant lady from the kitchen brought the pizza up once it was ready and showed it to me. It was well made with lots of toppings, probably the best pizza I have ever had from a pizza hut. I bet it got under Ms. attitude problem’s skin that I was given such a nice pizza. I would say it makes up for the last time I picked up a pizza from this location and received something with about a third of the toppings as were on this thing. They regularly have good online deals on their website. I don’t think pizza hut’s food is worth the«regular» price, but plenty of their promos cut the price practically in half…

Upon calling, they tried to NOT give us our money back… saying they could only issue a credit… yea right, it’s all on Twitter and Facebook now too #pizzahut…

this location is horrible! they open at 11am, and at 10am we placed an online order — delivery(just literally 4 blocks away from them! very close!) at noon — an order for lunch for a group of coworkers. as of 1pm phone calls — numerous — are NOT answered. finally the order was delivered at 1:05PM. does their corporate office know how they treat the customers? one hour delay is a GREAT deal — so many coworkers had to cancel or move lunch plans… corporate website was very convenient to order, but when it came to reality, it was a disappointing experience. In SF there’s a sharp competition for delivery services with such companies like GrubHub, Munchery, Seamless, Unilocal24 and those companies know that nowadays people value time and want delivery within 10 – 15 min window max. Looks like Pizza Hut remains in old days and does not want to adjust… Won’t use them anymore. Same way taxis treat customers: dropped calls, don’t show up on time for pick up, rude agents on the phone — and now they wonder, why people are using Lyft or Über? Same expectations here — from food deliveries, customers today want fast and RELIABLE service, and we want ACCOUNTABILITY: we want to track it with our smartphone and know exactly where’s our order. and pay with our smartphone too.

I’m normally a fan of Pizza Hut, but I won’t be coming back to this specific location anymore. I’ve been here once before & didn’t like it. I usually order from online since it’s most convenient to customize the pizza. My usual is the Skyline location, but they’re no longer available for online orders. Therefore resorted to the Geary location. First off I’m not happy with how Pizza Hut sends me a freebie for my bday for cinnamon sticks & it doesn’t even work on their site. It said that’s already redeemed. Wtf?! At the Geary location, they have a small lot, but customers can’t park there due to it being«too dangerous.» So it would have to be metered parking. I walked in & it took awhile for the workers there to come the counter even though they saw me walk in. The guy gave me the pizza & said that the girl will come over to ring me up. After awhile the chick came over to do the transaction. I put in 7mins on the metered when I parked & when I got back it was already 0:00. Luckily I didn’t get a ticket. Can’t believe picking pizza would take that long. Geez Louise! The pizza was good, but they messed up my wings. I ordered honey BBQ& buffalo, but they gave me two orders of buffalo instead. *poop*

In no world is 3 hours an acceptable time for delivery, ever. There isn’t a finer example of terrible customer service than this Pizza Hut. Lies about delivery times, rude, disgusting and pathetic staff that hang up and bullshit about orders.

Absolute disgrace! Ordered a single pizza at 8:45 pm. Got an estimated delivery for 10 pm. When I called them past 10, they said the pizza was not ready and would take 2 hours. They didn’t provide any updates that the order would be delayed. They weren’t even apologetic! I guess they did us a favor even picking up the phone.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a pizza place. I ordered two pizzas at 8pm with an arrival scheduled for 10:30… First of all, 2 and a half hours for pizza??? Ridiculous. When the pizza arrived, we tipped the delivery guy and got our pizza. I ordered a cheese and a pepperoni/ham. Both were pepperoni. I called the store and they refused to do anything about it and hung up on me. I tried calling a couple more times and the«manager» just hung up on me every time. Worst customer service in the city. STAYAWAYFROMTHISSTORE.

I am quite upset with my experience with Pizza hut. We have ordered a pizza over three hours ago. We have not received it, it is now 11:15 and still not here. Frankly, I am quite upset as we were having people over with nothing to eat for ages. I have called them 5 times and every time I reach the operator(after a huge waiting) and I tell them that I Would like to check upon my order they tell me that its on its way, it needs 1 – 2 minutes… The fifth time I called, they just hanged out on me as soon as they got my data and that I wanted to check upon my order… Thank you so much for the delicious phantom pizza you never delivered to us…

This store consistently lies about the estimates on how long till your pizza will arrive. I’m talking 1.5−2.5 hours late on top of the 1.5 hr estimate you get in the first place. And then they don’t answer the phone or hang up on you because they know everyone is calling to ask about their utter failure as a fast food delivery service. I really like Pizza Hut when I’m in the mood for fast food Pizza but I will never ever order delivery again from these guys and since they’re my assigned store from Pizza Hut by association. Unacceptable.

Be forewarned people… this is NOT the place to go to for fast food. If you want food that you can neither taste nor touch nor smell, then be my guest and spend your hard earned money here. Yesterday I was on my way to having an awesome night. My group had just finished rock climbing and we were a hungry bunch. I decided we should try the new bacon stuffed crust from here. Put in the order and low and behold it was a TWOHOUR wait. ONEDAMNPIZZA. Decided to wait… but as the clock struck closer and closer we had to leave for an event. One person was still in the house to obtain the pizza if it ever came. TWOAND A HALFHOURS later, delivery guy comes and ask for the credit card to verify purchase. The person left in the house didn’t have that so they asked the man if they could just pay in cash. Man says yes. SWEET! Run upstairs to grab cash and upon returning realize… DAMNPIZZAMANHASTAKENOFFWITHDINNER. No bacon stuffed crust and no faith left in Pizza Hut.

I was drunk, again, fuck you. SO, yes I am over-rating but fuck it, The people running the show in this motherfucker was on point tonight, Thank YOU Pizza Hut Crew on Geary St, you did your job well tonight, I will be back. Maybe sober, but just like the Terminator I will be back, and I will terminate you or help you to a higher rating… depending on my drunkenness. I am going to go pass out now.

The quality of the pizza from this location has gone down significantly throughout the years. I mainly order for delivery now and each year, it really does seem like the pizzas contain more dough than anything else. Even when I order a pizza with extra cheese, it feels that it’s barely enough to be considered normal amount of cheese. The pizza is nothing special, but at the same time I know what I am ordering so I have no expectations either. The wings are wings. Overall, the value is not all there but it’s okay once every so often. What I do not understand is that they charge you a «Delivery Charge» but that does not help support with the tip for the driver. So what exactly is a delivery charge if it does not go to the driver? That does not make sense to me. I always make sure to tip the drivers well as they are always very nice and kind. Delivery time is stellar as they normally have the pizza delivered within 45 minutes from the time ordered. Very impressed with that.

Would give them 0 stars. I ordered a pizza 7.23pm after trying to order from their shitty online system for 25 minutes. Apparently there was something wrong with my address, so created an account, had to log out and do my order again. I am a web developer and whoever designed that kind of system should loose their job! Anyways, I can live with a shitty ordering system if my food arrives in a timely manner. When my order went through I saw that my pizza was to be delivered 10.08pm(which again falls back on the ordering system to even allow that). I was okay with this as I needed to call the Pizza Hut in order to cancel the order(again what kind of ordering system does not allow cancelation?). At the clock moved towards 10.08pm I began to be more and more hungry and was really looking forward to get my pepperoni pizza! At 10.10 I called the manager at this Pizza Hut franchise, he told me that my pizza left the place a moment ago and was on its way. I asked him if he thought it was okay for fastfood to be delivered 3 hours after ordering, which the only thing he had to say to that was: «Yea I am sorry we are a bit shorthanded today…» SO… Now it is the customers fault that you guys are shorthanded or are too cheap to offer a decent wage to attract more personel. $ 25 for a pizza is way overpriced compared to the rest of the world(like Copenhagen, which almost have the same cost of living as San Francisco) that can produce a pizza for around $ 10 including tax. So I waited till 11pm as my pizza was on its way before I called them again. They where very surprised that my pizza was not in my possession by now so he agreed to send me a new one, which I did not have to pay for. Oh wauw, what a service!(sarcastic) 1am neither of my pizzas was arrived and I went to sleep. While all this was going on I sent messages to Pizza Hut’s Facebook fan page. They answered me in the morning when I woke up that they wanted me to fill out a form to register an official complain, which I did. The follow up email on this complain was that it would take them 3 business days to process it and get back to me. Now I am waiting for them to get back to me. I will keep you updated on the progress if they ever reply to me.

It was a Saturday night, and felt the need to have pizza, but not just any pizza, I wanted chain food with grease dripping off the side. That being said I made the fatal mistake of ordering from Pizza Hut online. Estimated wait time 2.5 hours… I realize there is only one Pizza Hut in the city, but that is just ridiculous. What really put me over the edge, was when I called for a status update, I literally sat on hold for another 30 minutes. Customer service is clearly not their strong point. In all honesty, pay the extra amount and order from Patxis or Nizarrios. Even Round Table is better. Food: Pizza is $ 9 for a large pizza with 3 toppings… Most large pizzas in the city are around $ 20-$ 30. So as you can imagine it’s 3x worse than the average pizza. The sad part is I’ll probably make this same exact mistake at a later date.

After not eating Pizza Hut for years, it was eating here that reminded me exactly why I haven’t. It doesn’t take a pizza snob to determine that the food is here nothing short of terrible. What’s both surprisingly(and mildly hilarious), is the customer service is far worse than the pizza could ever be. Sadly Tommy’s was closed( ), my group of late night food seekers were tired and hangry(#1), so they settled for this sad Pizza Hut. It was clear, desperation had no boundaries. When we showed up, the guy behind the counter seemed to be having a rough night. No greetings or acknowledgement, we stood there like fools wondering what to order. It took a bit of courage, but we finally asked him what we should order and his response was, «How high are you guys?» After a mini chuckle fest amongst all of us(#2), we all said in unison, «Just hungry.» We settled on a cheese crust pepperoni pizza and a supreme. Excited at the very notion we were on the verge of getting food, our faces went sour when he said, «40 minutes.» When asked if we could have it delivered instead, his sarcastic, «Oh, would you like me to pay you too?» was not appreciated. He agreed after a few eye rolls and took our money while we went back to our place. After an hour of waiting, I called to ask if it was on its way and I got a «you should’ve stayed and taken it home yourself» response. Fantastic. Then a click. The man hung up on me. The night was already in ruins; I’m getting barked at, we still have no food, I’m out $ 25, and ironically, the most vocal of the hangry bunch were practically passed out. Finally, after 90 minutes, a disgruntled delivery man shows up with our pizzas. After scoffing at the $ 4 tip, we got what we were waiting for. Two, somewhat lukewarm pizzas, which were unsurprisingly messy. The taste test was everything we expected: bland sauce, tough toppings, flimsy cheese, all on a cardboard crust. I’m still not sure which was the greater punishment: waiting that long for the mediocre food or the inept service? ________ (#1) For the uninitiated, that’s hungry *and* angry. (#2) That probably didn’t help our cause … at all.
