Riper bananas, please! And also sooooooooooooo expensive! Can they at least do frequent customer punch cards or something?

Not a local juice company! This Juice is shipped from Irvine, CA. Disappointment! They made it sound as if my juice was made fresh in South, San Francisco. That is false information and advertisement. I was a fan of the«Mylk» line, however after my horrible experience with(2 others), the lack of customer service, disrespect and 3 of us obtaining stomach aches. I will forgo this indulgence for something truly made fresh and local.

The prices here are $$$ and insane. Maybe that’s just me. I thought it would be like Juiceland in Austin. But it’s not and extremely overwhelming for someone who’s not hip on the SF juice scene. It’s solid for when I really crave Juiceland and want juice. I will always and forever compare it to Juiceland which is terrible I know. I’m most likely not hip enough to appreciate a $ 10 smoothie. At least everyone is nice especially as I maneuver my way through the menu to find something I would enjoy. Not for me. I tried it twice and I just can’t justify the prices for what I get.

We ordered the acai bowl with protein and it’s the best acai bowl I have had. Lots of berries, cashews, and granola for crunch.

Best juice shop in the city. Their acai bowls are too die for. They are so filling and delicious — I seriously crave them all the time. This shop is super cute & quaint. Definitely a great addition to Hayes Valley! Also their mint ship shakes & chocolate protein are such great meal replacements. And not to mention everything is good for you! Tasty and nutritious! A+ for PJs!

Acaí?? Ah-sigh-ME! Bears don’t normally like healthy things but I decided I needed a detox from all the raw salmon sashimi and hamburgers that I’ve been eating lately. Luckily I stumbled across Project Juice! The classic acaí bowl here was the bomb-dot-com and was just the right consistency with yummy fruits. And they compost errrrthang here, which is good for the environment and those of us who are pro-forest! Two bear paw thumbs up!

Finally a legit acai bowl in Hayes Valley. I get the classic every time. Also, try the immunity shot if you’re hungover or sick. Great location on Hayes.

Love this place, very pleasant staff, so fresh and clean, the food is good, loved the lentil wrap and the kelp thai noodles. My husband, who calls my juice sludge, wants me to get him a berry blaze every couple of days. The marina green is AMAZING! And its great to sit outside and people watch or walk around the neighborhood. They have new food all the time and its my go to place after the gym.

1:34pm/71°F clear/sunny Purpose: On my way back from Mission area after a few brief meet ups. Message can through about PJ. Set-up: Located in the Hayes area not far from city hall. PJ replaces Schulzie’s Bread Pudding with identical structure and features. Only thing change is the name of place and couple of wooden bistro tables out front. The angular glass partition glass display is still in use along with metal containers. Espresso machine and juicer behind counter with added feature cold brew Sightglass coffee. Mostly its a place to go if seats are fill up you can grab the bench seater outside in the share common area. Staff: Two girls and one guy about mid to late 20s college type. Really friendly pour out samples before you can ask them. Gave a few recommendations along with what they like personally. Never a upsell or rushing as you think things over yourself. Short girl with glasses engaging well manner soft voice. No problem as I talk in low soft voice too. Not sure if she’s sensitive or not. Cleanliness: Grade A+, immaculate place well stock of everything in menu and more. Prep counter clean nothing seen and cold fridge items face forward. Eats/Drinks: Turmeric Tonic $ 4, Chocolate blonde $ 2.75, Cashew Mylk $ 10.25. Had them many times same healthy tasting ingredients. The tonic was good after a long day at work as it helps replenish muscle mass. Chocolate Blondie was more of a impulse snack. It won’t get you full, but enough to tie you over so you don’t reach for junk food. Main Features: Acai bowls one one size only. Products/Services: Smoothie, boost, GF pastries by(Jane on Larkin), soups/broths(coming soon), plant base meal/snack bar, kombucha on tap, elixirs, parfait, granola/acai bowl etc. Coffe by Sightglass, takes plastic. Punch Lines: New, Hayes Valley, healthy alternatives, pricey, seats are minimal, friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, good recommendation, locally sourced, GF pastries, available year round, hot food(soon), minutes from downtown, street parking. Tradeoffs: Products are so good that there’s no deals or coupons offer on regular basis. You really get what you pay. Final Thoughts: I must say, I’m not the healthiest person when it comes to eating out. Every now and then I want to try, but sticking to a regimen is hard. The job that I’ve required eating a lot, I guess that’s one of my down falls and weaknesses. It’s really not PJ to blame as the shop is out there is just me that has to implement and adjust lifestyle. I can see this place settle down, then you’ll see women in lycra coming in on the weekends after their workouts. Not gonna object to that, of course not…

Overall it’s a 3.5 star so just bumped to 4 stars for now. I’ve been a fan of Project Juice even since I did my first juice cleanse in April. I got my juice cleanse pack in the Mission store, daily drink at the FiDi store if I feel like to. Project Juice Test Kitchen opened last Saturday and I saw the promotion on Instagram — get a smoothie or juice or bowl and show the staff the IG photo to receive a free kombucha juice! I got the classic acai bowl and swizz beetz kombucha juice. Acai bowl was yummy dessert, swizz beetz kombucha was better than I expected, I guess it was because the beets so it made the drink sweeter than regular kombucha. However it was pretty pricy for both of them. I’m not sure if I will come back for it because of the price.
