Puzzlephant Escape Room

This was my first puzzle room, and I hope all of them are this fun. I went with a group of five people, and everyone brought their wits to the table to solve the room, though our energy got more and more frantic as the clock neared zero. Fortunately we made it out alive. The puzzles are great, many are real stumpers, and some absolutely require co-​operation, so teamwork is key!
Looking forward to the next Puzzlephant challenge!

This was my first escape room experience. I went last weekend and there was a group of about 10 people. I highly recommend it as a great alternative to your normal weekend night shenanigans. You get to meet new people, play around like a kid, and test your mind! The guy who ran/​created it was a great host and extremely encouraging (even if we didn’t quite escape!). It is really neat to see how other people think and try to work things out. I suggest bringing along a few friends and trying!

My husband and I went for the first time yesterday and didn’t know what to expect. We had played escape the room games on our phones before and were interested in trying one out in real life. The lady and gentleman who run the place were super kind and friendly and helped out even giving hints only if you wanted. They were great!
We went and prices are about 32 dollars a ticket and you go into the room in a team of 10. It was me and my husband and 8 other strangers who were a group but we got along really well and made a great team!
You have 60 minutes to get out. There’s a cute little mystery storyline too! You’re locked in a room with clues and handmade puzzles and contraptions and you and your team have to solve your way out. It was really tricky but with a team of people working together we were able to solve it. It was so exciting, challenging, and rewarding. Definitely a fun group activity or couple activity and even a perfect work related team building exercise. I recommend it and we will be visiting again for the upcoming puzzle.

An imaginative story line with creative, challenging, and clever puzzles to solve. If not familiar with the concept, given an hour of time, a group of individuals (e.g., friends, co-​workers, business customers, etc.) can «escape» the room after successfully working together to solve various puzzles.
Puzzlephant had such a variety of puzzles in their Mr. E’s Elaborate Enigma! (!!!) Everyone in our group of 10 friends was involved throughout the puzzle-​solving thought process. Because the puzzles were fun, engaging, and challenging, we were often exchanging ideas with each other, asking questions, and trying and trying again — all in the spirit of fun — and escaping, of course! I also liked how some puzzles were good for «solo» solvers, providing for a good mix of multiple puzzles being solved at the same time.
Although I did Mr. E’s with friends, as a Consultant /​Business Owner (Resource Catalysts) where I am often involved in exchanging ideas, decision-​making, and «high stakes» situations where there are a variety of perspectives (sometimes conflicting), I can totally see the benefit of giving Puzzlephant’s Mr. E’s a whirl not only to have fun but also to learn the benefit of having and accepting a variety of perspectives.

The max amount of people in this game is 10. we had a group of 8 plus 2 randoms. initially we were hoping not be paired with random people but they ended up being clutch last min! we escaped with 1 min left!
this company is a pop up right now so they’re looking for a perm place. in the meantime, they rent the the space by day so all there props are mobile. it was cool that the guy built his own prop!
the game is still a work in progress and said they might add things to it.

This is my 500^th Unilocal review and I’m so glad I can use it on my awesome experience last night at Puzzlephant.
I am an escape game addict, and this was the 11^th room I’ve done, and definitely tied on my TOP 3 favorites.
The max # people per room is 10. We came with a group of 8 and were paired with 2 others. Communication and team-​work are key in order to solve the puzzles. Everyone contributed and we were able to finish with only 1 minute to spare — phew!!!
There is only one room, but it’s cool that their puzzles are mobile. They can relocate to another location easily and rent the space by the day.
The puzzle master, Jim, is a talented guy who just loves this kind of stuff, so he created everything. Super excited to have him in the area and looking forward to his next escape creation.
