I went to see dr. Raybin for a complicated issue with the lungs. He’s an incredible pulmonologist. Makes himself available to his patients, A great patient advocate and treats patients with respect and dignity. Besides being a standford graduate teaching both at standford and UCSF, he is extremely humble and open to exploring and trying to have a greater understanding of patients issues if he is in need of more information, he is an out if the box thinker and I think a very strong advocate for patients, he makes sure you understand the risk benefit of issues before you undergo any medication, surgical or other healthcare choices. Most importantly, it seems he treats each patient as a unique special individual and if you have lost some ability he will try to get you back to what your«Normal» is. For instance, I’m an athlete, dancer etc, most of my life has been filled with 4 hour days at the least of conditioning. At one point I couldn’t walk up the stairs without losing my breath. Dr’s main concern for me was getting me back to my quality of life to where I could resume my activities at that level. For someone else perhaps it’s an hour a day of walking. My point is that he takes each patient individually and fights for them to get back to their highest quality of life. He’s incredible. I owe him a great deal of gratitude,
