Dr. Sundberg is a good doctor, but probably not a great doctor. I went to see him for rectal bleeding and was told that what I had was probably quite benign — like hemarrhoids. But he agreed with me that a colonscopy was probably indicated and it was set up for two week later. I went to his facility where the wait was a lot longer than I would have expected — an hour, plus. When he saw me before the procedure, it was like we had never met(and he and I were colleagues in the medical profession). But the procedure, once started, went well and quickly with benign results. Although he told me the good news shortly after he finished, I was enough out of it that I remembered nothing when I got home. I had to call the following day to hear the good news all over again. He probably should have though t of that possibility. If I had to have another, I would probably find someone else first, but wouldn’t consider it a tragedy were I to return to Dr. Sunberg.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 San Francisco, CA
The only male doctor I have ever seen in San Francisco that didn’t make me feel stupid or embarrassed, and I’ve lived here for 15 years. His demeanor is calm. He really listens to you and he takes the time to listen. At no point did I feel like he needed to get to the next patient. At no point did I feel like I wasn’t his top priority. He was very clear with his questions, his findings, and his options and solutions. Dr. Sundberg made me feel comfortable with an uncomfortable problem and procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a GI doctor.
