I am lucky to say that Robin has been my personal jeweler since 1998. Initially, he recommended perfect pearls for my skin tone and shape of ears, face. The setting and keepers are rugged and solid and I have not lost them — it was always happening with poor quality earrings.
I purchased a few exquisite pearl necklaces that Galina has added to Robin’s store and it always makes an occasion fabulous to wear them.
Robin and Galina valued jewelry I inherited from my mother, helping me learn about caring and making the best use of the small collection I now have.
He made an beautiful classical setting for a Roman carnelian intaglio first in plasticine so that I could see and approve his concept before he wrought the gold ring. It has become a major daily source of energy for me and my appreciation has only grown for the piece and for Robin’s craftsmanship.
Friends and acquaintances describe it as stunning, and it is in a refined and restrained way.

Hands-​down, Robin and Galina are simply the best! I met a woman on the bus who’s finance had worked with them on her engagement ring (which was absolutely stunning) and knew that we had to check them out. I’m so grateful for that random encounter because Robin and Galina are not only extremely talented at what they do, they are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met and had the pleasure of doing business with. Whether it was staying open past their normal hours to look at diamonds, showing us how Robin starts the creative process (he uses the classic clay method for molds which is an art in itself), being patient (initially I had about 100 designs I liked) or just taking the time to get to know us as a couple, they did it.
As for my ring, I’m still completely in awe… I knew it would be special but the final product turned out better than I could have imagined. Everyone who sees my ring has the same reaction too… they are blown away, say it’s one of the most unique rings they’ve ever seen and can’t stop staring at it :)

Robin and Galina are just wonderful. My fiancé found out about this shop from a friend when he was looking for an engagement ring. Robin helped him to custom design a ring, taking into consideration all of the things he wanted the ring to be. My ring is just perfect, and I get TONS of comments because it is truly one of a kind. After the proposal, we came back to design a wedding band to go with my ring, as well as a very unique and beautiful ring for my fiancé.
His prices are competitive, and his work is flawless. You can’t go wrong!

This place is a jewel in itself! It is inside of the Fairmont Hotel in SF.
I have few pieces from them and I love everything about them. I wear my diamond studs every day and never got tired of them. The price was amazing for the quality of the diamonds. When I stopped by another time they offered to clean my jewelry for free (even my engagement ring that I didn’t buy from them).
I can’t say enough good things about the owner, Robin Woolard and this place, the process and the final product. He’s simply one of the best businessmen in the bay area, and a class-​act. I wish we would find him earlier as they have quite an amazing selection of engagement rings!
