Rose Vierling Dance Instructor

I started intensively studying ballroom and Argentine Tango with Rose Vierling in the summer of 2013 after seeing her dance the most exquisite Argentine Tango in a performance. At the time, I had hung up my dancing shoes, and when seeing Rose, I was ignited to learn again and dance this same way. What a marvelous gift, as since studying with Rose, I have felt reunited with one of my great joys in life — dance.
As a dancer, Rose is breath-​taking, and her ability as an instructor is unparalleled. She is able to make everyone, whether brand new to partner dance or experienced, feel confident and open to the learning process. Rose has a warm, kind, patient presence and offers a classroom environment that is structured, while facilitating a space where students are free to learn and enjoy dance without judgement.
Rose is my favorite dance instructor in all of my 20 (on-​and-​off) years of dancing! I would recommend Rose to any aspiring dancer — whether a wedding couple, or newbie social dancer.

Rose helped me prepare an Argentine tango routine for my wedding, as well as a simple 2-​step. I couldn’t have asked for a more talented, enthusiastic and graceful instructor. I’m impressed that while she is a skilled professional dancer, she can be amazingly down-​to-​earth, practical, and patient about working with couples like us with a total lack of any ballroom dancing experience. The lessons became a welcome, fun break during the midst of all the other crazy wedding to-​dos.

Rose is truly amazing. She taught us tango (we had no prior tango or ballroom dance experience) and choreographed our first dance for our wedding. She is completely professional when teaching and managed to dance with both me and my partner in intimate moves without being awkward. At the same time, she is hilarious and adorable. We love her. She went out of her way to help us — from helping me find my shoes and dress, to picking out the music, to finding time to demo moves with her partner. She was also very easy to plan with — flexible and responsible about scheduling. Rose was unfailingly encouraging and believed in us. And in the end we pulled off an amazing dance at the wedding that we are still savoring.

We used Rose via The Pick School of Dancing to get ready for our first dance for our wedding. We wanted to learn to two step, and she did an amazing job in just a few weeks. My husband had never had any formal dance training before and she did such a good job with him-​so good, in fact, that he carried the day during our first dance, as I was totally nervous and knock-​kneed.
Rose is super easy to work with, plan with and talk to. She was very flexible with scheduling and we really looked forward to every single lesson.

Rose is a wonderful dance instructor. Her movements are as graceful as a Swan. I have had several classes with Rose and I appreciate her sensitivity and skill more and more. Also, she is so easy to communicate with, a quality that is a must for a productive teacher-​student relationship. In her gentle and expert way Rose knows how to turn beginners with no confidence into motivated dancers. She is patient, comprehensive and possesses amazing discernment on what you need to work on in order to improve. She accomplishes all this by an alternate mix of watching and dancing with her students. She is one of the best instructors around. Fridays nights at Pck School of Dance she offers continuing instruction on the Argentine Tango, a sort of specialty dance. I have taken a couple of classes and was pleased that Rose and her helper do their best to make sure that no one is left without a partner. She is great with anything she does. There are no restrictions here. Her students are all ages and sizes and at different levels. She can handle it all.

i began learning Argentine tango nearly 5 years ago. One of the instructors in my beginning class was Rose Vierling. Not being a dancer, I was quickly lost. So I approached Rose about giving me private lessons. Since that time, I have continued to learn, improve, be inspired by, and be encouraged by Rose’s patience, her expertise, and her regular return to technique more than just learning patterns. I continue to study with Rose and feel my tango has gotten better since those first classes I took. Rose also is an accomplished teacher of a variety of other dances as well.
Getting married? Rose can work with you to have a great dance experience at your wedding? Just want to learn to go social dancing? Rose is committed to ANYONE being able to learn how to social dance. I more enjoyable experience is hard to find than taking a class or lesson from Rose. My dancing is clearly better for my learning from Rose. It may seem odd to say so, but not every dance instructor and student have the connection that allows one to learn. Rose make that easy, and encouraging.

We were pretty last-​minute, and even so, she got us ready to wow our guests in just over a month (5 lessons).
