Round Table Pizza

The team at this Round Table are awesome! They are always pleasant and have never got my order wrong. They use fresh ingredients and the business is always clean. I eat here at least once a week and would eat here more if I could afford it! Thanks to the staff for being such great people!

We were referred here by the Round Table on Van Ness Ave because it’s significantly closer to Potrero. One evening we ordered and they delivered to the house but tonight I called and they refused outright to deliver because the address wasn’t in their computer. So lame. The agent who answered the phone was sure to be as unpleasant as possible as well. Great customer service Round Table!

Don’t ever order delivery. The staff needs more training or a better system when it comes to game days. They need to hire a better staff. If you want pizza order somewhere else or just order for pick up.

I only wanted to go to this Round tables for carry out and while I waited inside, I never got my order. It took them way tooooooo long to get me my pizza. So I left and didn’t pay them and the guy at the counter looked at me weirdly.
Never go here folks!

Worst service ever. 2 hour delay from a delivery results in cancelled order. Manager has no customer service skills and entire experience is horrible. Don’t order from here

I never have a problem at this location until today. I decided to have lunch so I went and decide to order the lunch combo and six garlic twist. I told them my order and it came to seventeen dollars. I waited and my order was up. They gave me the lunch combo and they only gave me an order of three garlic twist. I told them that I order six instead of three. The lady who took the order said she only put in the lunch combo and three garlic twist. I gave them a $ 20 and I got back about $ 2 dollars and change back, but it didn’t make sense that the combo and three twist would come to seventeen dollars, so I told them that they make a mistake. They went make three more garlic twist. While I was waiting for my order, a guy who order a large pizza (not sure what type of pizza he order) was given the wrong pizza and he waited to just to get the right pizza. The place was not crowded when I went in and place my order and yet they still able to screw up the order.

Love love love the people at this Round Table PIZZA. They always treat you with respect even when customers are mistreating them!

Poor ass service!

I tragically live in a neighborhood scarce on pizza options, and I generally love Round Table, but this location, not so much. I’ve had at least 5 eats here. Sometimes carryout, sometimes dine-​in, and one delivery. The pizza has ranged from ok to good. The prices in general are astronomical. So if you’re getting an ok to good pizza consistently? – the prices are atrocious. For delivery, I ordered a large priced at $ 19.97. The online minimum delivery order is $ 20. The site wouldn’t allow me to continue with my order. Mind you, after tax it was $ 24.54, but they don’t factor that in. We had no choice but to order the XL cause we just wanted a mother*ucking pizza. After we mistakenly added tip beforehand (don’t ever do that until service is delivered, in any situation), total for a pizza, $ 33. $ 33 for one damn pizza. Can you imagine my idiocy for convenience? The site notified it would take 40 minutes, which was fine, we were building a sofa. It’s an early Sunday evening circa 6:20pm, non-​football season, we should get it a reasonable time, right? Nope. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes. Awful. No apologies from the store when we called, no bonus goodies as a forethought apology, and no apology and no understanding from the delivery guy. If you order for carryout, they have their shit done in 15 – 20 minutes. They may not know what they’re doing when you ask for it, but at least it’s done and ready. The tasty bacon and pepperoni toppings save them from a one star, but they can gouge other customers from now on. They need to mark down their prices considerably for starters, and they need to treat online orders and deliveries as serious as they do with carryout and dine-​in customers. They’ve lost my business and they ain’t getting it back.

Only Round Table in the whole Bay Area to carry pizzatatoes. WINS in my book. Thank you so much.

Good pizza, they get busy at times and. Can take a long time to get order. Dont have a pizza delivered you are better off ordering and picking it up! People that work there so far, have been nice! Can get pricey!

Their pizza is always fresh and tasty and their service is freakin impeccable! I’m that girl that always wants to special order something, even when it’s just pizza, and this place is ALWAYS accommodating and friendly. And besides the delicious pizza, this specific Round Table has THE BEST garden salad! It’s like a crudités platter on top of a salad; so many fresh veggies! Thumbs up to these peeps! They’re doing it right!!!

The pizza is good but you could feel how old it is by eating the side of the pizza it’s not that crunchy like other pizza places that I go to, downtown for instance the made the pizza just right with the side of the pizza with crunch.

Today a pizza restaurant has seeked a new low. I called pizza restaurant knowing that the 49er game is in progress understand that I’m willing to wait an hour and 30 minutes maybe even longer. Every time I call this place they have an excuse you don’t not enough drivers oh we don’t deliver out here even though they’ve delivered out here many times. There’s always some kind of problem in today they wouldn’t take my order because the derive or couldn’t come back and take another order so they said oh you have to starve and call somebody else just because your driver wouldn’t come back and take the order. What’s really frustrating is that there are only two delivery places in all of San Francisco that’ll deliver to this location this is one of them those places and they always have an issue and they can’t ever seem to get it together doesn’t matter if it’s daytime nighttime there’s always some kind of problem. On top of that there pizzas your lousy overpriced and they don’t have a variety of anything it’s better to go with a different pizza restaurant that makes better pizza and not purchased anything from any roundtable ever.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Usually no probs with pizza. Tonight I wanted two orders of boneless chicken wings AS OFFERED on their menu… A gentleman got on the phone and I THOUGHT he got my order. Delivery guy arrives… bone in chicken wings. I call back and the same man yells at me that I got what I ordered. I think someone’s dad is helping out behind the counter and it is NOT good. I don’t need to be reprimanded when YOU screw up my order!

I really love Round Table Pizza. Thing is, I really hate the one I have to have it delivered from. It’s a shame because I have no problem with the actual pizza. As I am typing this up, it has been over 2 hours since I called to order the pizza. Tried calling back and I was put on hold. Was left on hold for 5 minutes before I just hung up. Tried again, same thing. So apparently, they take their time to deliver pizza (if they even are going to deliver at all) AND they don’t answer their phones. How does this place survive if this is what kind of crappy service they give? Pizza should not take 2 hours to deliver. What happened to those days when pizza had to arrive in 30 minutes or you’re guaranteed it being free?
I can’t even rate the food because, well, I don’t have it. Fix your system, RT. You are a good pizza place but the places that you have your businesses are just plan abysmal. You guys know I am paying YOU to eat. It’s not like I’m not giving the company my money.
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PARTICULAR ROUND TABLE BRANCH AGAIN.
P. S. Also, how about you hire delivery guys that aren’t drugged up stoners cruising around in their delivery BMWs (seriously) with their homeboys? Maybe then they’ll be more attentive and not miss my house by two blocks…

Not the kind of place you’d want to sit down to eat.
Everything is made fresh, and tastes great considering it’s from a chain pizza restaurant.
I always get the Parmesan twists here. Delicious, crispy, and always served hot!
The service is good and there is a wait since they make everything fresh.
The seating and restaurant could use some more attention. Sticky tables, outdated décor.
Just your average pizza joint.
Recommend the twists, don’t recommend a stay.

All Round Tables are pretty much the same. They offer quality ingredients and are usually fast when it comes to producing their product. I have been here a couple of times and they do not disappoint. We usually get a large 1-​topping pizza with buffalo wings. The wings are good and the pizza is just as good.
Had a crazy experience here one time though. I was waiting for the pizza to be done cooking. Meanwhile, the delivery guy walks into the door and tells the cashier that he had just been robbed. Apparently some woman called this location and told them that they wanted 3 pizzas delivered to this address. Then when he gets there, they tell him to give them their money. Crazy huh? Those robbers are idiots though for giving them their address and phone number. When the cashier calls the lady back who orders the pizza, she picks up. What a moron. Pizza was done before I could eavesdrop more.
Sucks for that guy. Hope he got his money back. Good pizza though!

This is place is okay. I don’t come here very often since there is a lot of other places to eat on this street. The food here matches the other Round Tables, nothing stands out about this place. This place isn’t all that clean either. The staff here look like they don’t even want to work in this place, never seen a smile on anyone’s face. lol
I don’t come here for pizza so often, but rather their other options like cheese stick, wings, and the twist. Just had their new chipotle cheddar twist just the other day. It was kind of dry and needed more cheese, for me personally. But for 3 sticks for around $ 2.50 isn’t that bad. Their personal pizzas are pretty good and consistent, but they give their sodas in cans with a straw instead of the usual 20 oz cups. I found that pretty annoying The wait is kind of long too, but I guess everything is made on the spot so it’s okay.

Inconsistent delivery service, rude staff, but very nice owner.
They delivered to my house when I lived in the Portola district. But when I moved to Candlestick Point, which is actually closer (on the border of Visitacion Valley), they refused to deliver. WTF? That made no sense. I even explained that I was literally less than a mile away from them, but whoever answered the phone said they would not deliver.
I tried again another time, and they agreed to deliver. Unfortunately, the pizza never came. I waited 2 hours, called in and they said the pizza guy just left. Half an hour later, I call back AGAIN, and they said the pizza guy couldn’t find my house so he just went back to the store. BUT — they never called me to give me an update. I had to call them — repeatedly. I asked them to refund my credit card and they said «yeah we did already.» WTH? So rude.
I complained via email to the manager, and she apologized and asked me to give them another chance. I have yet to take her up on her offer. She seemed really sweet and apologetic, so I might just go back. Unfortunately, they are still the closest Round Table to my house and I love their pizza, so I think I might end up going back just because of convenience. But it would definitely be for a pick up, NOT delivery, since they seem to have such a hard time doing that.
