I bring my clothes here on a regular basis and they are always very clean and nicely pressed for a decent price. Staff is friendly and always accommodating. I would not go anywhere else!

I was debating between using Washio for the first time, or going to this local spot, and I’m so happy I went with Russ. They are friendly and efficient and their prices are competitive. I’ve used them for wash and fold and occasional dry cleaning. Always timely as well!

Just picked up my pants today, had them tapered here. Both were selvedge, the result was beyond excellent and the price was unbeatable! $ 10 per pant!

This place has been consistently great for 10 years. I used to live on the block and used them weekly. After moving out of the hood, I tried some other places but service and quality were always lacking. I don’t mind driving across town for great service and clean clothes.

I have been using Russ Cleaners for years and have never had a single problem. It is an effective service run by nice people.

We took our clothes to this cleaner and to my surprise, the clothes were not clean only folded. They smelled of mildew and there is this green fuzz all over our clothing. We dry cleaned a jacket there. They did a great job with that, but I did not pay 30 DOLLARS to have my clothes just folded. GREEN FUZZ! How the hell did that happen?!

I’ve only been here once, but I feel like the 5-​star review is justified given the magic they worked on a jacket I brought in for dry cleaning. It was nearly brand new, and I stupidly got a petroleum jelly-​based burn salve on it. It left a very noticeable spot on the sleeve, and I braced myself for a permanently unwelcome stain. Luckily, though, a Unilocal search unearthed Russ Cleaners.
They removed the entire stain, for $ 5.50! It’s gone, without a trace… I am beyond delighted, and will be coming here for all of my dry cleaning needs from now on.

This place is truly a gem, both for the great service and also the owners and employees! This is truly a neighborhood Mom & Pop. The owners, Jason and Winnie, and their staff of 2, yup, 2, meaning 99% of the time it’s either Jason or Winnie (owners) and the 2 lady staff. Quite amazing people. I’ve seen Jason bend down and come up with a handful of stickers for passing tykes whose Mom isn’t even a customer! He doesn’t have to do the many little things he does, his business seems to be booming, so it’s a kind heart that moves this smiling bear of a man. He has a work ethic that is truly rare, more like 1950’s small town America.
I’ve read through the reviews, and the extremely few low stars: well, not everyone has an appreciation for; great prices (cleaners a block down, now closed, was higher) really remarkable service (9 – 11 hour days for Jason, the Owner!), consistently even and personable customer communication, yes, communication with recommendations, and truth without bs.
So I’ll easily ignore the meager handful of low ratings and chalk them up to those customers either having had a bad day, or some of the all-​too-​many entitlement attitudes folks.
I don’t often need big cleaning done, but all the laundry I would stick in a machine, well little diff in price, plus nice conversations with a truly nice person and his staff.

Jason and his wife have always been incredibly good to us. We have used them for over a year now, and they do a great job every time. If they missed something, they are always more than happy to redo it, and they try their very best to help you fix old stains, etc. They are very kind and never nickel and dime you (I have often noticed Jason rounding DOWN the price even when you pay with a credit card). Last week, my boyfriend dry cleaned his tuxedo shirt and when it came back some buttons were broken (they were super fancy buttons). I dropped off the shirt to them, but Jason wasn’t there at the time, but an hour later I received a phone call from him stating that they take full responsibility and that his wife had already looked into contacting the Swedish company (located in Sweden only) to obtain the exact same buttons so they could replace them for us. Wow — totally on top of it. He then called only a week later and said that they managed to reach the company (who btw had discontinued this shirt BECAUSE of this button issue), who sent them better versions of the original buttons for them to put in. The buttons arrived with receipt and everything and the shirt was now ready for pick up, AND he apologized for not getting to me earlier… Seriously, where do you find this kind of incredible service? I am blown away! Thank you so much Russ Cleaners!!!

I was wearing a special blouse handed down from me by my boyfriend’s mother. White silk, made in Paris, France, when I spilled beet juice ALL over it. This was after work, around 6 PM and I panicked! Found this laundry mat to be the only one still open for another half hour and rushed it over. The nice lady told me she would try her best, but beets were tough. When I went back a week later to pick it up, the guy asked me to check it, and it was pristine! I am not sure how she did it, but it worked and I was happy. Only cost about $ 5 too. Not to mention their eco-​friendly methods! I was a very, very pleased customer.

2x misplaced my laundry bag. This time all my clothes came back smelling of mildew (left sitting wet too long) and the stench was so awful I couldn’t use or wear anything. Also my white towels came back with blue red and grey stains. I’m not one to normally write reviews bit this is beyond unsatisfactory.

I recently brought in a TON of dry cleaning and every piece came back beautiful. One of pieces of clothing was badly stained. (My fault) although they were not able to get the stain out — they also did not charge me.
Also– they do accept credit cards! Which is awesome because most dry cleaners in the area don’t.

The owner/​manager found the item and didn’t charge for the mix up. Probably won’t be bringing any more leather goods but will keep coming to Russ’s for everything else. A bit weird that I asked the employee twice if there were any other tickets under my name (in person and on the phone) and she said very adamantly there were none and she’d given me everything, but all’s well that ends well!

Great service, quick turnaround — AND they reuse and recycle all kinds of clothing hangers that I bring in, which I really appreciate.

The staff at this cleaners have five star qualities. Very friendly service and also extremely accommodating. Price is just a tad too high but still is reasonable.

Don’t even bother with this place! I use to come here a few times. Especially back in the old days when Hao ran the show. He was always so friendly to me. I’m not pleased with the new owner and his service. I brought in a sweater and it shrank when I got it back. I can’t even wear it now. I come here since it’s close to where I work. I’ll be taking my business to Shrader Cleaners.
Save yourself, your wallet and your clothes some heartache and go elsewhere.

Quick, no-​nonsense dry cleaners with incredibly reasonable prices. I was pretty pleased when I used them, plus they’re the closest cleaners to me, so I’ll be a regular customer!

So I put off laundry to the point that using a laundry service was my only option to regain my sanity. Since they don’t post their hours online I called to ask when they close (this was on a Wednesday at about 6:30 pm) and was greeted by a very friendly gal that informed me they close at 7.
Luckily I only live 3 blocks away. Distance was a big part of my decision, as well as a high review and a low cost rating.
I wrangled up what I could carry without causing damage to my back and set off for Russ Cleaners. When I got there the gal from the phone call greeted me. She was so pleasant and helpful. I told her it was my first time and she took my particulars. To my surprise she asked when I wanted to pick them up. I didn’t realize I had a choice so when she suggested the next evening I was stoked. I can pick them up on the way home from work?!? SCORE!
Just before skipping away I asked for their hours and wrote then down on the business card I snagged:
M-​F: 8 am to 7 pm
Sat.: 9 am to 5 pm
Hot tip: they are cash/​check only. It’s how they keep the prices so low.

Sometimes I dirty my clothes just so I can stop by here.
I’ve been coming here since April 2005 and have had nothing but EXCELLENT SERVICE. I bring all my suits here to be dry-​cleaned and all my shirts to be laundered. I’ve had a few slacks hemmed and a few suit jackets altered as well. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and efficient. Items have always been ready when they say they will. Never a problem with my clothing. Convenient hours (open till 7pm!) and good service.
