It was the best experience I’ve ever had in any auto-​shop. I am late 20′ young woman and I usually hated to go auto-​shop myself. But this time was different. I strongly felt that how Jimmy cares my car on my side and honest. And the result came out just perfect and very satisfied. Now I know the best auto-​shop in San Francisco that I would like to go forever.

Jimmy Is the best.
He did a perfect job on my motorcycle.
He is professional and knowledgeable about everything in his field.
My motorcycle was vandalized and the insurance company didn’t pay me.
I went to his body shop just to ask an estimate and the day after I brought my bike here to fix.
After few days the fairings of my motorcycle were fixed and they look better than new.
He worked also at night on my bike (until 2 am) to finish on time.
THE BEST.

Jimmy went out of his way to make things as easy as possible. And, when all was said and done, the repairs to my car were expertly executed and it looks as good as new. Would go back to S&S in a heartbeat (but hoping I won’t have to)…

I’ve taken my car (s) here on numerous occasions and they’ve never failed to impress me. They offer quality work done efficiently. If you’re looking for a place to take your car, please consider giving this place a try and look for Jimmy! He’s super professional and knowledgeable about this line of work… I wouldn’t trust taking it to any place else!
Nothing but positive experiences each and every time… If you need a rental, he’ll even set one up for them to pick you up directly from the shop at the time you take your car in.

I will NEVER take my car anywhere else!
So just a few short months after buying my new car (2012 mazda3 — not too fancy but still!), I ran into a parked car. Of course there was no damage to the other vehicle, but mine was jacked. Scraped and dented on the side door and the rear quarter panel. When my friends looked at it they all scrunched their faces up like ‘this is going to suck’. And it did… until I took my car here!
I went to two other places for estimates before I took my car to S&S. Both estimates were way out of my price range and I was paying out of pocket. Then I took my car to Jimmy…
Let me start by saying I called the shop at about 8:30pm on a Friday night, hoping to get an answering machine message with their weekend hours. Not only did Jimmy answer but he was so freaking nice! He said I could bring my car by the next day for an estimate.
The next day I brought my car by… he assessed the damage and looked at the estimates I had been given. He was very honest about what he could do and how much things would be. Jimmy even showed my some of the unnecessary stuff on the estimates I had been given.
The estimate he gave me was significantly lower than what I had been given by the other places. It almost seemed too good to be true. I was skeptical that my car was going to ever look that same again, but Jimmy is the best!
It only took about a week for my car to be finished and Jimmy sent me updates (with pictures!) throughout. When it came time to get my car, he offered to pick me up or drop me off wherever I needed. Honestly, my car is better than it was! There is no trace of any damage and they made my car clean and shiny again!
Jimmy and his staff are a talented crew of people that know a lot about what they do. They take care of cars and most of all they take care of their customers. Jimmy is knowledgable and will be honest about what he can do… he even showed me work he did to his own car. These guys are the best and I will NEVER go anywhere else!

I Love this place!!!
I was referred by a friend for some scratches I had on my Mercedes. I took it in and right from the start Jimmy explained my options with insurance or out of pocket expenses. He gave me a great deal and my Mercedes still looks new to this day after the paint repair job!
I have referred many of my friends and they are all so pleased with the results! It’s hard to find a shop that you can trust and most importantly does great work!
I highly recommend S&S to anyone that needs car work and the best advise on how to fix it! :)

It is upsetting that I’m writing this review and giving S&S a 1 star only. but to be quite honest with the stuff I’ve had to deal with for this most recent accident I would give it a negative star if I could.
This shop had done repair work for me on 4 separate occasions and 3 times out of the 4 went really smooth and I was happy with the work and the service. This last time however took forever and for the hassle I had to go through after the repair has been done was just enough for me to make the decision of leaving this shop for any future repair works.
My mother’s car was rear-​ended end of December and she dropped the car off on 1÷3÷2013 to get it repair. We were under the assumptions the car was being worked on the entire time. My mother got a rental car thinking we’ll only need it for 1 week TOPS. Well it turned out it took 3 weeks, 2 of which was just having the car sitting there waiting for it to get work on. We were contacted by the rental shop saying the rentals were not cover by insurance and that we need to pay out-​of-​pocket. I tried calling the adjusters and Jimmy to try and figure out what is going on and Jimmy told me he’ll take care of it, which he may or may not have, I don’t know but I was told by him that it’s been taken care of. Upon returning the rental car we were told the insurance will only cover the rental for 1 week of the 3 weeks, which means we had to fork out $ 400+ dollars out of our own pocket to pay for the 2 weeks. I told them I’m going to try and figure things out with the insurance company before charing us the bill which they were kind enough to understand and give me extra days to deal with this mess. I’ve contacted Jimmy on few separate occasions to try and get this squared away but it either went to voicemail on cellphone (box is full so can’t leave messages) or no answers on landline. I finally got a hold of the claim adjuster and was told the car had been sitting there for 2 week before someone started the claim.
This is poor customer service in my book because we were told by Jimmy that it would be fine and that he had taken care of things for us. There were so many back and forth and he said she saids that made this a bad experience and leaving a bad taste in our mouths.

Great service. Jimmy runs a great business and is really focused on customer service. He even picked up my car and dropped it off. Body work looked great. He also did a mini detail. No headaches and fast turn around!

Jimmy saved me hundreds of dollars and did a flawless job replacing and painting my 2012 Honda Accord front fender. I visited and called many different body shops and S&S had by far the best prices. Highly recommend this place!

When I had a little accident with my Audi A4, a friend recommended bringing it to Jimmy at S & S. I’m so glad I did. Jimmy not only straightened out the damage around the wheel well which resulted from the accident, but also buffed out an (unrelated) scratch on the side, and fixed up my bumper which had been kind of sagging down. Plus, he arranged a loaner car for me while the Audi was in the shop. All for no extra charge! And, I got my car back two days sooner than expected. Throughout the process, Jimmy did a great job of communicating with me about what needed to be done and how things were progressing. I felt confident that I was in good hands. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using Unilocal for years and S&S has finally prompted me to write my first review. I only wish I could give them 6 stars! Their customer service was outstanding! Jimmy, the co-​owner has been a pleasure to work with. He toke care of everything from arranging car rental to dealing with insurance company. Even though I now live in Mountain View, I still wouldn’t go anywhere else. Yes, they’re that good.

Jimmy, one of the co-​owners, went to great length with customer service and made
working with him convenient. He’s aggressive but in a good way:
he really wants his business to succeed but is super-​fair and interested in pleasing to do so. I can relate to that as business owner.

I never write reviews on this either but this one I couldn’t pass up: If you’re looking for a 100% honest body shop, give Jimmy a call at S and S Auto. He could not have been more helpful, hard-​working and responsive to every little detail no matter how minute. Jimmy’s looking for long-​term customers and he earns it in spades.
I had a tire blow out on the highway and it took out the front bumper and caused all sorts of other damage on my Malibu. I was referred to Jimmy by a friend so I gave him a call-​he sent someone over within half an hour and had the car towed to his shop at no cost to me. Not only did he work day in and day out on my trashed car, he happily wrestled with my insurance company to ensure that I got everything I needed. When he found out I was paying $ 25 per day for a car rental, he made a phone call and directed me to an agency that got me a nicer rental for $ 15 per day. He found various unrelated bumps and dents on my car and fixed them at no cost to me. When it was finished, the repair looked perfect. And when the bill came, Jimmy ate a big part of my deductible-​saved me hundreds. So in the end, I got a lot more than I bargained for, and paid significantly less.
If I or anybody I know gets into an accident, I’m giving Jimmy a call. No need to look anywhere else. I’ve worked with several other body shops/​mechanics in the area and in my personal history, there’s no comparison to what this guy will do for you.

Highly recommend S&S Auto Collision for any car repairs. Jimmy was extremely helpful, very responsive, and got my car back to me as quickly as possible. I felt very comfortable with my car in their hands and the repair was perfect.

Personally, I don’t usually write reviews on the site, but after the awesome customer service I received from this place, it was so worth writing a review about!
Here’s my story, so I basically got into a front end collision accident with my 2006 Civic, being that it was my first accident, I went with the first collision center that was «trusted» by my insurance company. A week later, I got my car back, but before they let me have the car, they told me that they found a «clicking» noise on my front wheels. They told me to go somewhere else to get it checked out because they weren’t allowed to look further into the problem. Kinda sounded odd to me because you would think taking it to a collision center, they would fix the car completely and made sure it was safe to drive. I didn’t think it was a big deal because I needed the car that week I picked it up. After a day or so of driving the car, my front wheel completely came off! Luckily, I wasn’t on the freeway yet, but it would of been ALL BAD! I brought it back to the same collision center, and they were making all these excuses to protect their shop! I was super pissed that they denied they were the cause for my wheel coming off completely after a couple of days later!
Luckily, I had friends that recommended me to Jimmy, and he took care of everything for me! He was just as pissed of why the other collision center did not fix the problem that they found while they were working on my car! Jimmy definitely took care of me and my whole car situation. He can definitely help you out any way he can because he’s an honest guy and would not sugar coat anything to tell you the truth. Now I know who to turn to when I need to get my car fixed! I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone who wants an honest hard work to reassure that you get exactly what you want for your car! He also does amazing custom paint jobs that is done to perfection! Thanks Jimmy for everything you’ve done for me, definitely will come back to this shop any day!

FINALLY… An honest body shop, service was great, level of work and craftsmanship is unbeatable, and most of all its the best bang for its buck. Ask for Jimmy, he is very knowledgeable about everything related to cars, trust me I spent 2 hours talking to him about how to make my S2000 look cooler and drive faster then it already does. I hope never to see Jimmy again, but in case I get to another accident, I know now where to go. Thanks Jimmy…
