This is a weird review because it is not for a doctor but for SF Internal Medicine Associates as a group and how they interface the public.
I now have an appointment with a doctor that I will review after I get through that but this review is for my experience with setting up this appointment with SF Internal Medicine Associates.
I called twice to try to set this appointment up and both times I talked to somebody who was very rude and did not know anything about how to help me.
She did not know if my insurance was accepted, she did not know what doctor might accept my insurance, she did not know what my procedure was, she was very short, very rude and it felt like I had to pull every last ounce of help I could get out of her just to set up a simple appointment.
I hope the doctors are better then the face of this group because based on the person who answers the phones they are not worth your time.
These people could easily loose business based on the way these people answer the calls. In fact, I would be going somewhere else right now if it were not for the fact that I live so close to this location and I have friends who have had a fine experience with a doctor here.
Again, this is not for the doctors that work here, just a warning that my two experiences with trying to set up an appointment here were very frustrating.
