OMG! They had an «I heart SF» black hoodie and fell in love with it. I HAD to buy it. They also had a shirt that I wanted to buy, but it was $ 15 and I already went overboard with the hoodie, which cost me $ 25(tax included). This was one of the souvenir shops that I really liked.

We purchased two mugs here. As I was removing the price tag, before washing them, my fiancé saw a tag under the price tag which had a warning label that the mug contains lead. We check the other mug, and the warning label was half ripped off. As lead is the chemical know to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects, the stores have to put a sign and let customers know what they’re buying. This particular store refused to do this and when we came back to ask for refund, we just found out that the management is very arrogant and refused to serve us the right way. The shelves that mugs are displayed are on, didn’t have any warning labels on and they still keep hiding the labels on their products. This is not a joke, you can’t just sell items like this and trick people. This can leave some serious circumstances and we have a right to know what we are buying. This is just my first complaint about this store and I will not stop here.

Out of the many many souvenir shops at Pier 39 I enjoyed this one the best. This is the one where it was the hardest for me to resist buying the clothing! I actually live in the Bay area now and gladly bring out of town-ers to Pier 39 especially if its a beautiful sunny day in SF. Well since I live in the Bay my boyfriend has forewarned me that it’d be way too cheesy to buy an I love SF sweater. Okay fine! haha. They had a lot of great designed SF shirts and sweaters for tourist and also a baby/toddler section. I bought a small blue t shirt for my nephew back in LA and there was a cable car on the front with a cute dog that said I love SF. The prices are good too with women’s shaped t shirts for 14.94 and sweaters for 19.95. There is mostly apparel in this place so if you are losing for a wide array of Ghiradelli chocolates, cable car toys, or Alcatraz shot glasses you’ll find that elsewhere. Come here for the very cute I Love SF stuff.
