Out front, I am biased in favor. I have known Sifu Elmond and Sifu Joseph for 10 years. I have a passion for martial arts, but came upon Wing Tsun by chance. I have had many teachers as I have continued to train each new place I go, some also very good. However, I believe there isn’t anywhere else that can make me the best I can be. I am willing to drive from Davis to continue my training. The teaching is in a traditional style, ranks/promotions are not big. The basics are heavily emphasized. It requires patience. However, with patience and effort, comes good reward. Martial arts can be very complex, but Sifu Elmond and Joseph make is simple. From my experience in martial arts and more importantly in life, things aren’t understood until they can be made simple. Lastly, this is a family atmosphere. Many of the students have been there longer than me. When you train, in time, you are working with a brother or sister who want you to be best you can be, not to show they are better. I think this is a gem of a school. It is hard to sift through the many martial arts and in SF wing chun schools. This one is not flashy, but the basics taught here have differentiated me among my peers as having skills not taught elsewhere and I am not an expert. It takes patience, but I believe there isn’t a better place to get a deep understanding of martial arts than here.

I attend training here, as well as in Millbrae. The SF school is operated by Sifu Joseph Mah, a direct disciple of Sifu Elmond Leung. I like Sifu Joseph a lot — he is patient, very attentive to detail, humble, highly skilled, and devoted to teaching. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in Wing Chun, martial arts, or simply health and fitness.

This is best to learn self-defense and state of the art WingTsun. The school has a super friendly environment. Sifu Elmond is the real deal and many of his students has won championships for countless Competitions.
