I needed a replacement clothing gift for my college age son in a hurry Christmas Eve. Empty store but still snooty service. First surprise: identical cotton shirts, white one 20% more expensive than black. Chose the black but didn’t read the fine print. A men’s cotton shirt that requires either dry cleaning or wash/hang dry/iron. Too precious for words. Blew $ 140(«sale“price).

Very helpful staff and they have a great collection. Their sizes do run big if you are petite. Most dresses are in the range of $ 300 or more but you’ll find unique pieces here.

Staff members were extremely helpful, cool, approachable and engaging! They have such a beautiful store and an amazing collection. My friend and I were visiting from OC and since we were visiting from out of town, the two gentlemen that helped us spent some time making a list of restaurants/bars to go to which was really nice of them to do! They went above and beyond our expectations. Definitely visiting them again when we’re back in town!

Alright! i am a mid class gal and can’t afford their merchandise but did manage to buy a card holder for good price. BUT the service, layout, clothes… all exceptional and amazing.

There are a few reasons that I had never really thought to shop on Fillmore: 1) Because I never thought I was baller enough to do so 2) Because it was hardly the place I thought I could find clothes and emerging brands that I liked and was looking for 3) Because Fillmore = hills and Clarissa = lazy Sandro changes everything for me(minus the 3rd fact, but ain’t nothin’ gonna change that shit). But it makes the idea of climbing uphill in heels much more palatable to me. Not only do they carry all of the beautifully crafted clothing that I have come to love, but the staff is utterly delightful and approachable. Raine and her coworkers made me feel completely at ease and helped me track down the summer version of the top that I had been obsessing over for a few seasons and even offered to help me track down the same top from last season since I was too slow to do so myself. Also, it seems like they have sales every so often, which is a huge bonus for me! So between this place, Steven Alan, and the incoming Kooples boutique coming in up the street, Fillmore may very well become my new favorite shopping destination in the city… but shhhhh… don’t tell the other two places… this place is going to stay my favorite and I truly look forward to shopping with these folks time and time again. Sandro, Je t’aime!

Parisian style via SF. How lucky we are! My fiancé wanted to scope out wedding«tuxedos» here. Not only did he find his dream suit(a navy blue number, a la Daniel Craig’s James Bond), but it was 60% off AND they made the exact same jacket in the women’s style, which I fell in love with. So, we’re now tuxedo twinsies! Sandro has a great mix of classic staples and slightly trendy fun pieces. Like, a super well tailored blazer in bright orange, and a perfectly structured LBD(that’s little black dress, for the male readers). The fabrics are fairly good quality, which makes the prices(most $ 100+) seem justifiable. If you’re ready to take your wardrobe to a more grown-up level, Sandro is a really fun place to make some investments. The staff are wonderfully attentive too, which can«help» you leave up with more than you came in for!

I have a slight obsession over French labels for the«effortless, tailored chic.» I was overly ecstatic that Sandro opened a boutique in San Francisco, since I always had to go to NYC to get my fix. Sandro is the epitome of immaculate tailoring with a rock-and-roll edge(great for me!). If black is your go-to-wardrobe color, this label is a must-have in my book. Every season they have a pop color(right now, it’s a beautiful lipstick red). The store reps are overall very nice. The 50+% end of season sales make it even better than what I’ve seen in Europe with the exception of Les Soldes season in Paris.

Taking over the former Hlaska space, Sandro brings its minimal, luxurious aesthetic to San Francisco. The space seems larger, cleaner, and the repurposed herringbone wood floor saves the space from being cold. The clothes are mostly black and white; the cuts are sleek, fabrics amazing, and the prices on the high end. The knits are my favorite(especially when they get marked down 50%). Sales staff is friendly but seemingly indifferent about the brand.
