Was first referred to Sandy through a local surfer when I was complaining about my sciatic nerve pains on a great day of surf. He recommended massage therapy and said she was really good however that was an understatement. She’s amazing. Thorougly knowing her anatomy and what she is doing, allows her to do a thorough job, which is one of the most important aspects of massage. To be balanced. You can’t go home feeling unbalanced. it’s almosts pointles of the massage and it has happened to me with other massages I’ve recieved in the past. Not here though. My muscles being as tight and thick as they are, need deep tissue work and Sandy has left them more satisfied than they have ever been from any other massage. Her program doesn’t merely just consist of the fancy massage of your choice, but profesional body work combined with yoga which enhances the healing process and makes you even stronger than before. Her yoga classes in combination with body work have helped me heal more rapidly than I thought possible three months ago. Back in full aciton and maintaing. Thank you so much for helping me get through this in the most proper of ways. In class, acknowleding people’s different injuries and telling them to avoid certain poses really shows her knowldedge, affection, and profesionnally great manner and attitude. What a doctor.

As a large man, I find it difficult to find a masseuse who can get in deep in my muscles. Sandy is awesome! I hear she also helps out elder, smaller persons, so she’s got it all going on!

Sandy is awesome! She is a great, caring instructor, but doesn’t take herself too seriously. Forrest Yoga is strengthening and relaxing. Her massage work is seriously life-changing.

My girlfriend and I are both big fans of Sandy, both as a yoga instructor and as a massage therapist. We love going to her Friday yoga class at Moksha, and we both finally made appointments for massages — why did we ever wait so long? She is skilled, patient and meticulous; really one of the best massages we’ve ever gotten. Can’t wait for the next!

Seriously? I tried her yoga class twice. And although I admit that I liked the style of yoga, I really found her to be rude and condescending to me both times. Seriously rude and condescending. And I’ve gone to a LOT of yoga classes and had LOTS of different kinds of teachers. Maybe she’s great if you’re an average body type, but she definitely has her biases and cannot keep them to herself.

I had an injury from weight training and Sandy alleviated 80% of my pain. It was the BEST massage I’ve ever had. Her hands are magic, she knows all the right pressure points and gives the most amazing facial massage as well. Thanks Sandy, I am referring all my friends to you!

LUUUUUV Sandy. I work in construction and swim in the Bay and feel my back is a tool too so I get regular messages from Sandy. She is an amazing balance between«your chakras are not aligned» and«Dude, your shoulder is jacked»(actual quote). She takes what she does very seriously and is very well informed about all aspect of body work, message etc, but doesn’t talk down to you. You can tell she really loves what she does.

Sandy is knowledgeable, super nice, and patient. You should come to a Yoga class and get your active feet on! She will listen too you and then structure your class to your exact needs.

OK, I’ve had lower back problems for years. One session with Sandy and she showed me a way to stretch it out the problem area and it’s fixed! She’s amazing. Now, I just need to find time for some of her yoga sessions.

i’ve known sandy for years. she is an amazing bodyworker as well as a top notch person. she really listens to what your needs are and works on your areas of pain, or helps you relax if thats what you need/want. her yoga classes are very therapeutic and are for helping your body heal… it’s not like gym yoga where the teacher isn’t paying attention to you and just wants you to get a «workout». sandy is all about helping you learn about your body and how to help you help yourself. plus, her bodywork just feelsgreat. period. end of story. she WILL help you feel better. i totally reccomend Sandy to anyone who needs serious therapeutic bodywork and or yoga. :)

Sandy is an amazing massage therapist. I started seeing her when she was at Dimitras Spa in West Portal and continued with her when she opened her own massage/yoga studio. I have had many massages and she is the best therapist I have ever been to. She does deep tissue and really concentrates on the areas that need the most work. She is such a warm and caring person and truly gives her time and energy to her clients. She gives a great pregnancy massage too!

I started seeing Sandy about 3 years ago when I had back & hip pain from my pregnancy. I was referred to Sandy through a friend who had chronic back pain & claimed she was«healed» by Sandy. I was a bit skeptical at first because I’ve been to many masseuse throughout the bay area, at spas, at resorts, in China, in Thailand, etc… and all felt somewhat the same to me. It wasn’t until my first session with Sandy that I realized what a REAL massage was supposed to feel like. She is ALL hands on. I never felt so rejuvenated and relaxed after a massage. Imagine feeling as light as a feather. SERIOUSLY! After that I was hooked and been seeing her for monthly sessions since. I refer her as my «therapist». =) (3÷07) — I fell down the stairs. =(My neck & upper back was completely stiff and was not able to get an appt with my Chiropractor til a week later. Luckily, I saw Sandy a few days prior my appt… she worked around my swelling, taught me a few lessons for work & home, and by the end of the week, my stiffness & pain was already mostly gone. =) (6÷07) — Last week was my 1st time trying both massage & yoga together. Wonderful treatment if you can dedicate the time. Massage is healing from outside in. Yoga is healing from inside out. And you put two together… perfect rejuventation. Ommm…

I have been going to Sandy for massage therapy for over 5 years. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and provides the best massage I have ever experienced. She is ideal if you are looking to have regular«work» done as she can help alleviate chronic pain. Her sessions are unrushed because she always allows ample time between appointments so I have always had at least my full session of table time. Sandy came over from one of the major day spas in the city where she was the top therapist.

Sandy is a nurturing knowledgeable massage therapist. I go to her whenever I have an injury. I not only feel better but I’m more informed and she gives me suggestion on how to prevent further injury. Her yoga classes are small and personalized. Her understanding of the body makes her an excellent yoga teacher with the ability to focus on folks practices yoga with injuries. The atmosphere is modest and simple. She started this business a year ago. I knew her when she was at a spa and was the highest requested massage therapist and always booked 1 month out.
