The last few months, I’ve gone here more than I go to any other food or beverage establishment. I go here for convenience — it’s right across the street from my office, allows you to order pickup in the Unilocal app, food is solid, and service is kind. I order two things: — Breakfast: Bacon Wrap spicy — just a delicious breakfast burrito with all the best things in it. Put in the order on Bart, walk in and grab it. — Lunch: Chicken Shawarma Plate spicy — chicken, hummus, pita, rice, and(crappy) side salad. This is a solid lunch option that’s probably slower to give you heart disease than(the also delicious) Super Duper a block down. I love this meal, except for the side salad, which as I mentioned, is crappy. Specifically, it tends to be a little soggy and have too much going dressing for my taste. I don’t know the name of the dude who runs this place but for some reason he’s a guy I’m generally happy to see. Maybe that’s because he gives me food so often.

The breakfast gyro is so big and filling that it serves as two meals for me! The meat is flavorful always just a little crispy but never dry and the sour cream, eggs, and cheese add a nice cool down to the spiciness of the fresh salsa. It can get a little messy so watch out. The wait in the morning can get a little long with only one guy in the back making everything. But the food is consistent and service very friendly!

We’ve been here many times because of its convenient to location for us. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the city, but the breakfast gyro is our favorite. It has more flavor vs the breakfast burrito. It seems, in our mind, it was better a few years ago.

Never been here. Had a gyro. Staff was friendly, maybe even a little over the top. But they were pleasant. Lamb gyro was really good! Honestly I’ve had better but it definitely hit the spot for my lunch. Veggies were fresh, could have used more. And an overflowing amount of meat! Oh and he recommended the hot sauce to me, do it!!! Definitely didn’t feel jipped w the portion I got. Would come back again for a quick bite :)

This is a small corner shop near my job. Their falafel wrap(ordered extra spicy) RULESMYLIFE. It is the BEST falafel wrap I’ve had. Seriously. Some weeks I will eat here three days in a row, it is that good.

I just ordered a breakfast scramble for pick up(via the Unilocal app), when I arrived they told me their location doesn’t actually have the ingredients for my meal and that instead I would have to walk down several blocks to pick up my breakfast. The whole purpose of ordering ahead is for a quick pick up, now I’m walking three blocks further from my office for the breakfast I pre-paid for(via the Unilocal app)… –__– I arrive at the other location 40 min after ordering and. my breakfast is not ready. The guy was considerate and upped the(included) coffee to a dbl espresso, and threw some avocado on there at no charge. The chicken apple sausage scramble was bland and the coffee cup was served without a lid.

Coffee is good but I hate every time the guy throws your credit card. Come on how are is it to give it back on our hands.

Love this place! Was in SF for a week on a conference and ate breakfast here every morning. Great food made to order at relatively low prices for the quality. Front counter staff is very friendly as well. Get the Sharma breakfast burrito! It’s the best!

This place is truly a gem! I work across the street from here and every morning I go get a bacon wrap –spicy! It is the best breakfast burrito ever and it comes with a drink-either juice, coffee or a soda. They are so friendly and nice and the owner knows what I want the minute he sees me walk in the door and I don’t even have to tell him my order. And the son, who occasionally works there, saw me on the street once and recognized me and said hello! Those little things really mean a lot and make me want to continue supporting local businesses. My company had them cater lunch for us a couple weeks ago and it was delicious! Salad, pita bread and hummus, chicken kabobs… I can’t say enough about how great this place is.

A tasty place where they remember your name. Their falafels are the best downtown! And you can’t beat the breakfast gyro in the morning. Delicious!

Slim trend. Upgrade: Downgrade: With the great service really wanted to give four stars, especially after a delicious chicken, roasted tomatoes and hummus lavash wrap. Unfortunately for $ 7 it was just a bit too slim.

Quick, healthy food that won’t kill your pocket. Employees that will recognize you after your second trip. Multiple choices for the protein powder in your smoothie. These are a few of my favorite things, and Sausalito Espresso delivers them all in spades. If you’re hungry for breakfast, get the egg-white wrap with spinach. If you’re dying for a substantial lunch, try the falafel.

Breakfast Gyro is best breakfast in the financial district — and one of the few places open before 8am!

I had to revise my review due to an incident here. I don’t usually give bad reviews at all and I don’t like to, but when it comes to food and being Halal, this is really important to an entire community. This place claims to be Halal and one of the employees assured us that the bacon was actually turkey bacon. Yet when we went in today, another guy said it is pork and questioned whether we know what bacon is. Of course we know what bacon is but we specifically asked if it was halal turkey bacon previously. I’m not sure anyone here knows what they’re talking about. Secondly, if they are using bacon and ham, then how can they maintain a Halal environment? Finally, their secondary location which we went to at 1001st street said that none of their meat was Halal and were saying they’re not sure about the other location. How can one shop be so disjointed? Anyway, they have vegetarian options like their breakfast burrito which is decent, but I caution any Muslims who are looking for Halal food to be weary.

Definitely OK! 1 Star for a convenient-to-work breakfast or lunch(Mission & Beale) 1 Star for polite and fast service(talk about multi-tasking — as my co-worker and I were paying, the guy manned the register, gave suggestions to folks in line on ordering, made a smoothie, and directed the wrap-maker) 1.5 Stars for menu extensiveness(they don’t just have gyros, their falafel wrap is good and so are their salads), drink choices, and chip choices. Note the lack of space in the place for waiting/dining in – don’t plan on it. Also note that ‘mild’ is really pretty spicy sometimes during the lunch hour; so, when being asked for«how hot», beware of your preference. Will be back to try the breakfast food someday soon! I hear they have a special where you get OJ with your sandwich. :D

They make a WONDERFUL lamb and beef gyro. Wow, I like it better than Oasis. You can’t walk by and see the hottie modeling a gyro and not want to get one immediately. It is about $ 7 for one and a great lunch option in FiDi. The staff is very nice there and they accept CC at any amount. They also have protein shakes there. Just saying.

Listen people … this place is awesome and amazing! Everything is on POINT! My co workers and I found it on Unilocal and couldn’t wait to fill our empty sad Monday morning tummies and… THISDIDIT! We got the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon and the egg cheese English muffin and the Go Bananas smoothie… let me tell you it was the freshest most perfect and gloriously angel like smoothie i have ever tasted! SOOOOOO fresh and Delicious and smooth! The croissant was lightly glazed and beautiful and the egg and bacon… oh my well cooked to perfection! I will definitely be back to try their breakfast gyro… ah I love the city ;P

They are a lunch option in an area with a lot of them — I’ve been a few times, because I like diversity in my lunch options and they make a decent Mediterranean wrap. But the portions are pretty small, and they have inconsistent quality; sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s mediocre at best. Great chips selection, pretty good drink selection, fast even during the lunch rush.

Stopped here before work to try their breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito is pretty good, strong ingredients, salsa, potatoes, cheese, avocado. The flavors go well together – nuanced. If you want to add meat, it costs extra. I added sausage, it is standard breakfast sausage links sliced into bite-sized pieces. This burrito would be ranked much higher but for its really high price +$ 8 coupled with its lack in size. My quest for the best breakfast burrito in the financial district continues…

This tiny corner café is an ideal place to grab a sandwich, gyro wrap, or coffee if you’re on the go and want to avoid waiting in a long line during the SOMA lunchtime rush. Their gyros are good — they make them to order. Their coffee and espresso is decent although not as good as Algiers two doors down, but unlike Algiers there’s never a long line here. Their breakfast sandwiches are good and generously portioned. I opted for an egg white, bean and cheese wheat wrap($ 5.99) this morning and it was so good I didn’t even miss the meat. The bonus was the free drink that came with my food(I chose OJ). They have a few stools where you can sit and read the paper. They also carry baklava, some prepackaged foods, and drinks. Athough there’s no room to sit inside, they have plenty of outdoor tables facing Mission Street. Convenience is their major draw, although they hold their own as a café as well.
