Fabulous. It was bitter cold yesterday morning and the heady coffee aroma lured me over to their stand. Flavor? Amazing. Great caffeine punch with strong but not pungent flavor. Service was very nice, too!

This location used to have a great staff that remembered your name and order and made great coffee. I once saw one of the baristas give his own change to a guy who roamed the station every morning looking for money. They were really good caring people who made great coffee. When it first became a Scooter’s, many of them stayed on. But the. scooter’s clearly made some cuts and the staff was much smaller than it was. Then more of them left. There is clearly something about Scooter’s management that is making them leave. I was there this morning and there is only one guy left. I will no longer be supporting this business.

I come here most mornings for my cup of Joe. Quality Product and Employees. I’ve always had a great customer service at this location and I’ve noticed they are quite proactive when the line is forming.

As a Nebraskan who recently moved to the city, I was OVERJOYED to come up the Bart escalator and see my favorite Nebraska coffeehouse! I am a huge fan of scooters and have been for many years. I always get the carmelicious!

Time: 8:17am/61°F partly cloudy Purpose: On my way to east bay office for work. Saw change over from Peet’s Coffee just never attempted till today. The overhead signage reads world class. Set-up: Nothing had change from Peet’s days only the signage and logos. The usual business essential of double door fridge, pastry display case, utensil station, open air fridge, overhead menu board, waste basket, order/pick-up counter. Behind the counter seems cramp, but functional. Won’t have much space like a shop would, but it gets the job done. Staff: Both a guy and girl were doing their task. Girl was informative and upbeat. I ask what’s with the world class coffee mean? She reply with their coffee are roasted from top beans. To me big deal, I prefer local blend. Very well went ahead and try their drip to see what’s so world class means. Cleanliness: Grade A, well kept all regulations pass for operating in a public transportation hub. Eats/Drinks: Small drip $ 2.25 flavorful and robust beats out places that carry house coffee. Doesn’t taste water down had slight hickory taste. Can be easily pass for for Peet’s(almost) not close. Pastry are not baked daily instead from a distributor. Just thaw a toss in oven method. Main Features: Caramel apple smoothie and hazelnut biscotti latte. Products/services: Pastry, smoothie, biscotti, espresso, mocha, latte, cappuccino, americano, espresso blended drinks, coffee-free drinks, chai, tea, iced drinks, hot chocolate, bottle Naked juice. Find them on FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest. Sign-up for specials/promotions. Punch Lines: Accessible by Bart/Muni, better than average, no seating, modest cost, on the go, ATM(on the side), warm service, light bites, zippy service, can’t go wrong, nothing out of the ordinary, no drinking/eating within paid area of Bart. Tradeoffs: Prices on par with local hipster café joints, but no locally sourced ingredients use or being touted. Everything is deliver here. Just coffee brew on site. Final Thoughts: Scooter’s sound more like a southern name. A name that you’ll hear from«Dukes of Hazard». I just don’t see the significant of world class coffee here. Coffee are strong, but thats about it. Rest of the drinks blended/smoothies are no different from large chain giant. It’s just a cold drink with appealing name for those who wants a cold drink. The signage out front does a good job at luring people in though. Now, let’s see how I can sneak this coffee on Bart.

Not sure why people are giving this place grief over the fact that its no longer a Peets coffee. the good– its very convenient. right out of the bart gates and onto work they are usually really fast with service and the people that work there are always nice I actually really like scooters coffee it tastes less acidic the bad I guess its a little pricey but nowadays all coffee places are pricey.

Coffee is fine, but seriously, non-compostable packaging? Not cool. Not responsible. Plenty of other choices.

This use to be Peets and one day when I came by to get my regular latte, it was something different. I gave it a try and here are my pros and cons: Pro: Espresso is actually stronger than Peets and great flavor Same people work there Cute smiley faces on each top Cons: Unlike Peets, their small only has one shot so I have to buy 2 shots to get my 3.

Formerly known as Peet’s, same awesome staff, but the prices and coffee are different. It’s still a great place to stop after bart en route to work. I am definitely bummed it’s no longer a busy area coffee name such as Peet’s though, def not as excited to go there. I give it 3.5 stars. Best part is the staff!
