Sew-Op

This review is for a class I took with Elizabeth of ‘You’re Crafty’ at the Sew-​Op.
It’s definitely a maze to get to the Sew-​Op from the street, but the confusion was definitely worth it!
My friend and I signed up for a crochet class through Sosh. This was my first time picking up a crochet needle, and I was pretty excited. After a very frustrating initial 30 minutes (WTF yarn, stay on the hook!) I really started getting the hang of it. Elizabeth was a wonderful teacher, and really helped the 5 of us through 4 different crochet stitches (I still don’t quite fully understand crochet nomenclature). She was unbelievably patient, and ensured each of us had ample 1 – 1 time.
It was awesome!
Anyways — I’ll definitely be back to take some more classes with Elizabeth. She says to find her on EventBrite instead of Sosh in the future!
