Tribute to Two Kings– where to start? We were glad it ended. We were fortunate that the tribute to Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley was under 90 minutes. It was probably the worst performance we had ever attended. I thought the tribute was more of an embarrassment and a mockery of the two kings. You could have gotten a better performance from the street artists. The guy portraying Michael could not sing or dance. His two male backup dancers were pretty good. As for the guy portraying Elvis, he was okay. I could catch a better performance from one of a thousand Elvis impersonators in Vegas. The sound system was really bad. Concerts should not be held in this theater. Not only should we have gotten a refund, but we should have been paid to sit in the audience of 50 on a Sunday evening.

Had my first SFSU class here and it was really cool to be in such a large lecture hall. There are no desks for writing, but its still really cool to be in such a big room for class.

This theater held one of my first classes here at SFSU, so it’s appropriate it’d hold my final hurrah here as well. My first semester and current semesters I believe held Professor Carrington’s huge Human Sexuality class. How huge you ask? 400 students easy. That’s one third of the size of the small town I grew up in, but I must give the man props for keeping control of the class and really making it enjoyable. This theater has great acoustics and a huge stage, which came in handy when I graduated on it. Or rather it would have had it not been so big I ended up in the back, unviewable from the front. Truthfully next year I hope they either honor fewer students or separate us by class, because even though this theater is huge, it just isn’t wide enough to be properly introduced on. Thanks for an incorrectly yelled name SFSU. Totally made me feel special: D
