As far as I can remember, Scott is the best barber I’ve ever had. He’s open and accepting of whatever crazy thing you want to do, as well as VERY experienced, patient and focused. The shop is very quaint, right in the middle of what I call the «salon district,» because that seems to be the primary industry in EaHayVa (East Hayes Valley). He’s also very sociable and easy to talk to, or just be silent with. None of that usual barber awkwardness. Very recommended.

Scott is a class act and the two chair shop harks back to traditional «barber shops» and his attention to the ‘cut’ makes you feel like a million dollars ! This wonderful man has been cutting my hair for almost 13 years and his love for his work shines through on every cut.

If you want personal attention and professional styling, this is the place.
Scott takes the time to get to know you, your specific situation, and what you’re looking to have done. He even takes notes and refers to them when you come back, so he can fine-​tune your cut!
He’s always playing classy, relaxing music, he serves wine/​beer/​soda and snacks, and he’s unhurried in his approach. It’s about providing good service, not how many customers he can get through in a day.
His cuts look great weeks later, when other cuts start looking shaggy.
