The last two times my car was dirty when it came out of the car wash. Worst job ever of these guys.
Never again.

I came here once and paid with my card I came back a second time while there was construction and told it was cash only for the car wash. I figured it was because of the work being done or a temporary cash only. I came back and there were no signs saying cash only but the guy at the car wash insisted I pay in cash so I told him I need to back out then and that’s when he took my card and let me pay with it… I don’t get this place and I won’t come back.
Not sure if this guy is pocketing cash or why he is so pushy about cash when there is no signage.

Came here to get a car wash and it was horrible. We got the $ 13 car wash and all it pretty much did was get the car wet. The fryer was ineffective and it barely got the dirt out of the car.
I don’t suggest getting your car washed here…

Not bad not bad. Cash only, which was a little annoying and it doesn’t leave it that dry. But the wash is a good deal for 12.99. They put some lather and the car looked clean and waxy afterwards. Tdawg approved.

Cory the owner promptly replaced my tire cover and he was very nice. Although I was not happy with the inital customer service, the car wash is good and the owner was a pleasure to work with.

Car wash is average, really don’t see the difference between a $ 10 wash and $ 13 wash. And most importantly the older attendant who «prewashes» your car is RUDE!

For a 5 minute car wash, you have to wait more then 30 mins. If you come in the afternoon or on the weekend, you’ll have to wait double the time. There are so many cars here that there isn’t enough space and theres a high chance of getting into an accident. Make sure you get a receipt from the clerk. The clerk said just go to the car wash and the guy at the car wash said you need a ticket. They don’t care about their costumer service.

As my wife will attest, I can live in a pig sty. Dirt and mess usually doesn’t bother me, but my car was getting beyond filthy. I park it in my driveway and I haven’t washed it in months. Lots of caked on dirt and bird poop. Even I felt like I needed rubber gloves to open the doors.
I found myself in SF with some time to kill to looked for a cheap car wash open at night. Found the Geary Shell Car Wash on Unilocal and decided to try it out. I opted for the $ 9.95 basic wash for my disgustingly filthy car.
Paid at the little booth and asking the attendant how much a basic wash was. He geve me a funny look, took my credit card and gave me my receipt. I looked 1 foot to my left saw the sign posting the different car washes and prices. At least he didn’t didn’t say «did you see the sign in front of your face idiot».
Off to the car wash. A couple of guys hose the car down, spray with soapy water, then brush scrub. Then you’re off into the automated car washer. Ride on the little tracks through the swish-​swish and come out with the blower thing.
Overall, the car was real clean. Didn’t have to get wet and just sat on my butt for $ 10!!! What a deal.

Car went in dirty… came out the same way. All the spots on the trunk and the top (bird shit etc…) did not get cleaned. In addition the wheel got scratched when exiting. There’s one that just opened on 19^th and Lincoln.

Good or even decent automated car washes are hard to find in San Francisco. This one does deliver in both value and quality.
The wash itself is automated but they have guys that prep your car with high pressure soak before you enter the wash. Prices start at $ 9.95 including drying.
Pay at the cashier upfront.

It left my car clean and that is all that matters

Great place, especially for kids to watch. I like the manual pre cleaning with two guys, that’s pretty good.

Excellent wash. Very clean even with two young workers pre wash windows, body and wheel before into the wash garage. The workers there are so motivated, happy and hands on help. Glenn Urban jumped out his office to help me open the gas cap when he saw my injured wrists were not able to turn the cap. The two prewash young guys did a detail job. They made my car shine. $ 12.99 ONLY. WHAT A GREAT BALUE! THANKS FOR ALL THE SMILE FROM THE YOUNG WORKERS AT THIS STATION!

If you’re looking for a quick and easy car wash in the city, look no further. This Shell offers a basic wash for $ 10 with attendants that still scrub your car (even in the basic wash)… I can only imagine the pricier washes come with a buff/​polish.
On a weekday afternoon, there was no line, and it’s easily accessed right off Geary!

WHAA — I needed to get my car washed and for $ 9, and a 10 minute wait, I got a great wash. There was a bit of a line, which to me meant it was definitely going to be good. A small group of guys scrubbed down my car before sending me into the automatic wash. I will be a regular here.

1. Opted for the priciest package (12.95) which is supposed to include Rain-​X, poly sealant and tire cleaning. We got nothing beyond a hose down and soap up. There was still brake dust all over the rims and clods of dirt on the roof of the car.
2. The vacuum, which costs 1.50 per use, is supposed to go on for «5+ minutes» but we got about 3.
3. The air hose ($ 1 per use) has a faulty (super old fashioned) gauge and I ended up having to take my car opposite to a tire shop to get the tires filled up properly.
Overall a very unsatisfactory experience. Serves me right for trying to be cheap.
From now on, I’ll be happy to pay 2 – 3 times more to take my car for a proper wash and detailing.

My mother called ahead to check to see if the staff does vaccuming. They said that they do. So, we go there specifically for the purpose of getting the automobile’s interior cleaned.
Then, when we got there, the people working there claimed that they don’t do the vaccuming. So essentially, they told us one thing to make us come there, but refused to follow through on their promise. Frustrating.

I recently moved to the city and i have being looking for a quick and economic car wash to keep my car as clean as possible. Not here.
As auto-​wash, i knew i would have had to dry the car after to avoid water spots. Well, the car had a lot of water after. Worse part, still with a bird-s**t, bugs and dirty windows. I went there for a quick wash but the line and the time i spend cleaning what this place did not do was the same.
I tip when someone does a good job or extra effort, not to MAKE someone do it.
Looking for a quick and economic car wash in the city… not here…

I park my car outside like most people in SF do. I used to have a favorite spot at Tower Car Wash when they used to have a Unilocal deal for 50% off but that went away so now my car gets washed even less often. Since I don’t have $ 23+tip to get regular car washes every few weeks I resorted to just let my car get nasty. Recently I had enough with the thick crust of gunk layered on my car so I did what any good Unilocaler does… search for a decent car wash! I eventually found out about this place and was surprised to find a drive thru wash that had staffed people scrub parts of the exterior. I haven’t tried tipping the guys that scrub the exterior, but maybe I’ll try it next time.
I was also lured in by the deal car they had. For $ 50 you get 6 wash passes which comes out to like $ 8.33 per deluxe wash. Your car won’t be the cleanest, but it’s nice to wash the junk off in between the more extensive washes I’ll do at Tower.
You can pull around the corner and finish up the job by vacuuming your interior with some extra quarters on hand and quick dry with a towel from home.

I like bringing my car here, car wash no fuss no muss.

Es gibt nicht viel hierüber zu sagen, außer dass es trotz langer Warteschlange bier recht schnell geht. Alles ist automatisch — bevor man in die Waschanlage reinfährt wird das Auto schon mal von einem der Mitarbeiter eingesprüht…und dann geht’s auf Schienen durch die Anlage!
