Spending Saturday afternoon at the dentist thanks to you.
I’ve never eaten spare ribs that haven’t had the tiny bones trimmed off… until today… from Slippery Fish. Both of the two spare ribs I ate had little (smaller than a pencil eraser) bones on the top sides. I spit the tiny bones out and put them on the side of my plate. Unfortunately, I missed one, and heard a loud crunch/​crack when I chewed the meat. Voila! I am now missing a portion of the side of my molar.
Way to go, Slippery fish! How about you trim the damned meat? I’m so angry with you about this. It wasn’t just one rib with this problem, so your poor trimming is clearly a choice, not an oversight.
And too bad, because the food was pretty darn tasty.

Slippery Fish Catering is simply the best sushi you will find in the city. We tried several different vendors before deciding to go with slippery fish and they did an outstanding job on the day of our wedding. They provided a LOT of service for the very reasonable cost of their sushi. They also provided us a sampling prior to the event date and made the minor modifications we had asked for. They are very professional and do the catering for a lot of the high end events in the city. I will definitely use them in the future. –Sami

They did an amazing job at our wedding at the bently reserve in san francisco. Their work was impeccable, from the freshness of the fish, sushi options, and professionalism with communicating and meeting with us. Highly recommended for events. Our guests were raving about the sushi.
What was also great is that they made the sushi right there at the event which really enhanced the event and food options.
