Great local manufacturing company.
They are attentive to their clients and go beyond all other customer service experiences I have had with print companies.
Plus they make a difference in our tech driven community where many can’t find decent work.

I got some t-​shirts printed at Social Imprints for my indiegogo campaign. They turned out amazing, and their price was competitive. I also loved how reliable they were in communication and the shirts were made quicker than I expected. A+ service and quality overall.

I’m amazed to find myself raving about a marketing print shop, and yet, here we are.
Social Imprints created a set of printed cloth bags for my company that were… well… extraordinary. They helped design the messaging, the graphics, and did the print work. While I’ve never cared much for SWAG, no one’s getting between me and this bag. It’s both moving and beautiful. The message really touched me and the quality of the work was just top notch. After complimenting our marketing person on doing such a good job and making such a powerful impression, she told me more about the company.
This is the point at which my feelings about the company became personal. They hire underserved, underprivileged, and generally in-​need folks. They actually do community outreach to put people to work from shelters, and drug & alcohol rehab programs.
In short, when we buy a great marketing piece of fantastic quality from them, we’re helping improve peoples’ lives. And, as the Unilocal 5 star criteria says, «Woohoo! That’s as good as it gets!»

Bad experience with this company.
Ordered a shirt from a separate company which uses Social Imprints to print and ship apparel.
Item arrived damaged (stitching unraveled along seams, noticeable upon first glance).
After a lengthy & uninformative correspondence, I received a replacement.
The replacement arrived weeks later (shipped from the town next to me, btw), and included an obnoxious mailer return bag with prepaid label.
At no point was I informed to retain the original defective item and prepare for a return. Fortunately, I didn’t throw the shirt in the garbage (where it belonged) and I was able to send it back.
Poor communication. Poor quality (including the replacement). Expensive shipping.

Working with Social Imprints is good for business and good for humanity. Time and time again, the team provides great products and service at the best prices and with fantastic and professional attitudes. Printing quality and turnaround time were great, if pricier than other options. What makes this a 2-​star review is that this company sells your contact info, so if you use them you will be receiving junk mail until kingdom come.
How do I know this? I had Social Imprints send the t-​shirts to my home address. I’ve never used my home address for anything else related to the nonprofit I had the shirts ordered for. (I don’t even work there – I’m just a volunteer.) Now I get all this crap mail from Comcast Business and Uline and such addressed to [my name] c/​o [nonprofit name]: exactly the same address line as I had the t-​shirt order sent to.
Scummy move, guys.

Highly reccommend this company they are a local socially conscious small business that has a great attention to detail. I had a very rushed order and hed to make a lot of changes to the order that I placed and there was always someone answering the phones and making prompt changes and my order got here a day before the quote had said!

I organize an annual charity 5K run/​walk in honor of my late older sister and to raise money for education (see:
). Every year, Social Imprints have delivered the t-​shirts for the event and they’ve done a great job (professional, timely, etc.) and I recommend them.

My co-​founder and I are visiting from Australia and contacted Social Imprints for a print order on VERY short notice. Kevin and his team were so accommodating, polite and finished the order with plenty of time to spare. They were very quick to respond to emails, which was wonderful.

GREAT staff and they finished my t-​shirts in 24 hrs. Good communications as well and they are very responsive to phone calls. I have done 3 orders and each one has been better than the last. They have a wonderful graphics team and really do care about getting it done correctly and on time.

Over the last eight months I have worked with Social Imprints on multiple different printing jobs. I was originally attracted to Social Imprints by their socially responsible business structure, yet I found that it was the quality and speed that kept me returning to them with work. I also found it quite easy to build a relationship with them — both Kevin and Daniel have been excellent to work with.
Ive brought Social Imprints some somewhat difficult t-​shirt orders — in terms of both sizes, shirt color, and various ink colorings. While I know that they are not a custom shop, they have done well to accommodate my wishes, within means. Orders have almost all been completed within two-​weeks or less of the date that I finalized the designs — except for a few times when it was held up by American Apparel (AA — great shirts but a poor company to order from).
One of the only draw backs that I’ve had with them is their lack of communication. While the staff has been very quick to respond to emails, the responses often lack the detail that leaves me feeling comfortable with the amount of money Im about to spend. I really appreciate the mock up of the final design that they send, but I would feel more comfortable when asking for specifics relating to ink or variation to be conveyed back to me in a note, or email reply rather than left blank because the final design mock-​up doesn’t have the automated field to fill that information (ie; no base layer of ink, with a water based ink covering).
All in all, Im very happy with the shirts that I’ve had printed with Social Imprints, and Im looking to expand my printing with them into business cards, brochures, and more. Finally, I just really like these guys — how friendly, cool, and motivated everyone is in the team. Thanks guys.

I wanted to like this company, because of their social mission. I wanted to use them to make t-​shirts for my nonprofit group. I wouldn’t have minded if they just told me they couldn’t do it, at the right price, within my time frame. Instead, they told me they could make the shirts at a competitive price, but they just delayed at getting back to me, until when they finally did the price quote was very high because they didn’t have the shirts in stock and would have to air ship them. I wish they hadn’t wasted a couple of days and a weekend figuring this out.
I had to rush to find another vendor to get the order done on time (I used
, who really came through for me).
I am giving them two stars because I applaud their social mission, but they still have to get the business part right.

Social Imprints is awesome! I am a student volunteer organizer from the AS Community Affairs Board at UCSB and Social Imprints has allowed us to accomplish so many great causes in the local as well as global community.
What more can you ask for in a company? Their prices are unbeatable. They are committed to a noble, wonderful and needful social cause on top of being nothing less than stellar. On top of all that, their customer service is unparalleled! Whatever item we wanted to print on, they were able to provide it whether it was recyclable pens, sweat-​shop free shirts/​t-​shirts/​hoodies, or metal water bottles, or LED flashlights, and many many more items too!
When I call the office for a question, I get a person answering the phone as well as my question. When we were short on funds, they took less money to make sure our product demand was met. When we needed 500 shirts in less than a week, they made it happen. When we overhauled our logo and marketing strategy, they were able to assist providing not only graphic art technical support, but expert advice on what would work best for us.
In addition to coming through in the clutch, the hardworking team, and let me reemphasize «team,» are all there when it counts which is every moment of every day. They respond to emails quickly, are quick to process requests, order inquiries, official orders, and when if there’s a problem or an issue, they address it right away, calling me if necessary. On our end, we appreciate the little things because that’s how this world is changed for the better — one little step at a time.
I like to tell people there are two things we can always work on: One is, don’t make excuses — hold yourself accountable for your existence in this world, and two, be nicer. Social Imprints certainly works hard at both!

I’ve run several orders with Kevin and his team and have been absolutely pleased with each. Social Imprints continues to give the quality, assurance on a speedy delivery, and creative input to let me know how an order can be even better.
They’re a busy bunch, too — working on many orders at a time — but I’ve always felt that when I’m on their docket, I’m their most important client. Good feeling to have when your dealing with a massive order.
Kevin will negotiate with the manufacturers to drop your costs, and will make sure you get your full order in time for your event or deadline.

I hired Kevin to print some tees for me and my family to appear on the Price Is Right. (Very small order, I know. Social Imprints specializes in mass production) He did it for me anyway! And not only that, Kevin helped me with a catchy slogan and selecting colors that do well on camera! He really knew his stuff. He had the shirts done in less than 48 hrs. My family was very impressed with me for once in a long time!
The employees are charismatic and charming. You will miss them after the business transaction is complete.
