It seems odd to put a skate park under a freeway but it’s been done elsewhere.
It’s fairly sparse. People were using the freeway supports quite often, as well as riding over the entrance.
We later ran into some buddies from Central Valley and they were asking if there were any bike parks. Apparently, they didn’t find much to ride at this skate park, since it’s very much a street park.

A San Francisco embarrassment. I took my 16 year old nephews here to skate board. They asked to leave within 30 minutes due to the obvious drug use and shady characters going on around them. My nephews are not sheltered Angels, so if they felt unsafe… well, you get my drift. I glanced at the dog park while I was there. I wouldn’t take my dog. Too many unsavory characters and their equally threatening looking dogs hanging around. San Francisco has a problem and parks like this just enable it. 0 stars if possible.

A decent dog park. My Suge Knight likes to chill with the other pups and its nice to have a place in the hood that I can let her off leash.
Mostly the reason I am docking it is that the sidewalks are always covered in pigeon poo — if the city did a power wash once in a while, that would be super.

Knowing that it’s SF and everything is tightly squeezed, this park is pretty big! Two three blocks, one is high while the other long, has a hubba, big round rail, then there is a two block hubba with a rail! Just watch out on weekends gets pretty packed!

I walk by here all the time. And every time, i think about taking my dog here… then as i get closer, the urine stench reminds me why i still haven’t brought her here.

My go-​to dog park. The park is pretty small, but it’s just long enough to be perfect for my little shih tzu poodle to play fetch.
I really like that it’s fake grass so my dog doesn’t get dirty (unless he goes and lays in the puddles by the water fountains, which he always manages to do when I look away for a second). Fake grass can often be gross (i.e. poop stains, smell like urine), but this park is well-​maintained.
Minus one star because shady people come by sometimes. Metered street parking can usually be found nearby.

Skate park, clean, lots of different areas for different tricks. Under a bridge so its breezy, guess thats ok if you are skating, I was a spectator. Bad side, the entrance os on the far end, have to navigate through skaters to get to to tje other end. Not possible, just be careful. We were there in the early evening, not sure of the surroundings late night. Im visiting from So Cal.

This place is a shoe box. It’s a fenced dog run with astroturf. Useful if your dog needs a quick outing to do their business. Not suitable for actual exercise.

Two areas. One for small and one for large dogs. Open till midnight so if your dog is a crack head this will be perfect for them. Cool people around so you don’t have to trip. One star missing cause they don’t provide poop bags.

This review is for the dog park. Pro tip: the only entrance open is on Valencia, other gates have been locked.
I’m so glad this place opened! Land under the highway is usually dirty and sketchy, but this park has brightened up the space.
The dog park is a securely enclosed area, so I don’t have to worry about my dog running away. It is lined with fake grass, which looks a lot better than dirt, and actually better than real grass because my dog eats real grass. It is on the small side, but hey, this is downtown SF and it’s only a 15 min walk from my apartment.
I dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of well behaved dogs. I think we’re going to be regulars here!
