Alice does an amazing job! The potstickers are the best. Her new Veg Puffs are so delicious! We used her for a an event the other night and everything was a hit!
Everything she does is veg, and as a meat eater I didn’t miss it, it was so good. I will definitely order from her again.

We have ordered dumplings from Something Simple for our family and everyone loves them — finicky kids included, and have a bags stored in our freezer because we always want them on hand. They are simply scrumptious and the options are endless and creative. We have also gotten SSFL to cater several small (and two large) parties, and the crowd invariably raves about chef Alice’s delicious fare. Without a doubt this is good food and we will keep coming back for more!

The cook at Something Simple for Lunch definitely is creative and thinking outside of the recipe box. She does well with traditional Taiwanese dishes. Her zongzi (Chinese tamales) are the best I’ve ever had: moist, flavorful, and healthy. I like the chef’s specials too. Who knew jalapeño in dumplings (spicy cilantro hot mama style) would be so delicious? At first, I was wondering if it would be too spicy for me, but the kick was subtle and just right. I’m getting a craving for her food just writing this review. Oh, yeah. The food was packaged in biodegradable container, not those styrofoam stuff. Yummy, healthy, and environmentally friendly. Awesome!

I have been a big fan of this local yummy business. I have ordered food for a party and gotten lot’s of compliments from my guests. I also have use it for my lunch which has been a very healthy and tasty option. You can pick up your food for the week and have delicious lunch… and even dinner !! (some portions are very generous). I try to keep a bag of frozen dumplings, which are to dye for. Can’t say more than just invite you to try it… healthy and tasty!!! very reasonable prices and nice, local business owner.

Best catered veg food in SF. Best veg dumplings in SF!!! Actually best I’ve had anywhere, including China! Hands down. We always keep two bags in the freezer so we don’t run out. Cat is super nice, super flexible and fast to make sure you and your taste buds are happy. Her prices are more than reasonable. If you have been searching for über veg/​vegan food to take home, search no further. Your search has ended. I’m waiting for her to open a lunch counter. ..

Cat has the best vegan catering ever! She is so flexible and accomodating with my orders. My kids and their friends love her dumplings. Her food was a hit at my daughter’s birthday party. wow! I work at a non-​profit and we order food from this place for our events and it’s off the hook. I get dumplings to take home for myself now too. Really yummy and great prices. She’s super super nice.
