Sparkle Crystal

I have passed by Sparkle several times on my walk home from work and have always wanted to check it out — unfortunately, it’s only open from 11 am until 5:30 pm during the week, so it’s usually closed when I walk by. Yesterday, I left work early on a mission to get there before closing — and it was definitely worth it!
The jewelry is beautiful and all hand-​made by the owner, Jin. There are tons of pieces to choose from — earrings, bracelets, anklets, kids’ pieces, adults’ pieces … you name it, Jin makes it. After walking inside and viewing how much stock is available and learning that Jin makes everything herself, I have a greater appreciation for why the store has limited hours.
As an added bonus, Jin is warm, chatty, and friendly. She is super sweet and I had a great time getting to know her a bit when I was walking around, examining her beautiful jewelry. When I mentioned that her hours are limited, she gave me her business card and told me that I could always call her if I wanted to swing by after hours. Score.
Sparkle also carries very well-​priced boutique clothing — but the real prize is the jewelry. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a snazzy new pair of earrings for the weekend or a unique gift for someone!
