Specialized Activity Training

I saw SAT’s special intro prices online and thought, why not try it out. I’m so glad I did. The workout was simple and straightforward but also really pushed me beyond what I would usually do on my own. By the end of it I felt like I had targeted all of the major muscle groups and had a good balance between strength and cardio. I also really enjoyed getting to train outdoors. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Eli is my favorite trainer at SAT!!! In fact, he is my favorite trainer EVER. At first leery of his military background, I was pleasantly surprised by how encouraging and supportive he is. Yes. He is tough. But as it turns out, he’s not pushing for anything you’re not capable of… I set a pace goal to run a 10K in under an hour. Eli assured me I was capable of that and more. Less than half way through my training, I found him to be right. So we adjusted my goal. Come race day, I began regretting having announced a more aggressive goal (9 minute miles). But Eli never faltered in his belief that I could do it… drum roll, please… I ran 8 min 36 sec miles!!! I couldn’t believe it. I had no idea it was possible. Eli is knowledgeable and his training is comprehensive. He worked on my breathing, my form and my speed… but most importantly, my mental attitude. I ran the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon several years ago, which I trained for on my own. I never would have imagined that I could benefit so wholly from a personal trainer. 8 min miles, here I (we) come!!!

SAT is AWESOME! Eli is a great trainer, he knows what he is talking about, and makes you feel really comfortable. He listens to your goals, and creates a customized plan just for you! I always wanted to spice up my workout, but wasnt ready to shell out $ 90+ for an hour with some trainer who was going to walk me through the same workout plan that he does with all his clients. The prices at SAT are unbelievable, especially given the quality! Highly recommended – if I could give them 6 stars I would! I will be a SAT client for life!
