Speed Clean

I was there near closing time tonight, put my last load into the dryer at 8:30 and the place closes at 9:00. The couple who owns it was there getting ready to close up and I’m sure they want to get out of there but you shouldn’t harass your customers BEFORE you close. The guy watched me put my change in the dryer to see how much time I was adding then tried to put it on high heat even though I set it up on perm press. I then went to pick up some food and he again harassed me about them closing at 9:00, I get it! I will be gone by closing time but it’s not closing time yet!!! Been going here for 2 years but will never come back. I can over look the broken change machine but no one should be that rude to their customers.

This place is seriously gross but it is the closest laundry mat. Ugh, maybe I should just lug my stuff another few blocks. The machines have not been wiped down at all. SO GROSS. The owners of this place seriously need to clean the place. I am OK getting quarters at my bank but jesus… this place needs to be cleaned. Let me say it again, THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLEANED. And $ 2.25 for a load of wash in stank ass dirty machine? That’s crazy talk.

come for the awful music and 30 year old machines… just kidding! you come here because its across the street from your apartment and you don’t wanna lug your laundry 2 blocks to go to a better place.

If you go to a gas station you expect that you won’t need to bring your own hose to dispense gas, right?
Well what do you call a laundromat that has no change machine but requires quarters to use their machines?
A FREAKING WRETCH OF A LAUNDROMAT!
On the sign of Speed Clean’s change machine is that they refuse to stock their change machine .The business owners think it’s too much work to go to the bank to get change. And by looking at the condition of the place, they think it’s too much work to clean their laundromat too.
If you’re one of the unfortunate people who live in the neighborhood (like me) with this as the nearest laundromat I’d suggest walking the extra block to Clement to use the other laundromat that has an actual freaking change machine and actually has been wiped in this century.
