SpherePad

Update: Since my original January 2015 review, SpherePad has implemented changes that have made it much better as a mail forwarding and mail handling service. I give a special hat-​tip to Jessica as well as to management generally for these improvements. I have not used the conference room space since my first experiences with it, so I have not changed that part of my original review.
Original review (excerpts):
We needed a San Francisco presence and we decided on SpherePad based on the location, seemingly low prices, and Hasan’s magnetic presentation. Hasan is outgoing, likable and generally available.
SpherePad offers mail handling and shared space. The space consists of four rows of small desks jammed next to each other plus overflow in the reception area and on the rooftop (where there is no Wi-​Fi). The rows fill up quickly, so latecomers find themselves in overflow. Apart from a conference room that is available for a limited number of hours per month, there is essentially nowhere to have a telephone conversation.

Been a community desk member at SpherePad (formerly RezervIT) for more than a year. The atmosphere is relaxed with an interesting and diverse mix of workers. The managers, Molly and Hasan are welcoming and accommodating. They have two squeaky clean locations, both near Washington Square Park. Both locations are just steps away from great lunch spots.
I was surprised by how much more work I got done here than at home or in coffee shops.
Their membership options are fairly straight forward and reasonably priced with no sneaky fees or hoops to jump through. They also have a «virtual office» service which lets you use their office as a mailing address. It’s popular for people who travel or need a secure place for their mail and packages to be received and stored.

Great coworking space! Molly on staff was friendly and helpful. All the usual amenities were available. The space just lets you get work done. I’ll be back!

Friendly founder, great location and quiet.

Rezerv. It is an amazing work space. I felt compelled to write this review after a previous reviewer wrote patently false information. Previous reviewer may have been trolling or disgruntled for unrelated reasons.
Location: Great spot in North Beach, right near a ton of restaurants, parks, and most of the essential neighborhoods in SF to do business. I like to watch the old asian ladies in the park down the street do Muay Thai while I read my book before work.
Staff: Excellent. Hasan is very friendly, accommodating, and passionate about creating co-​working spaces. He travels around the country going to conferences on co-​working! I didn’t even know those existed.
Wifi: Fast and reliable. No problems ever.
Prices: Great. You get way more than you pay for.
Workspace: Really nice place to get work done. I feel like I am in a real workspace more than I did at Sandbox, where people share giant tables (at least in the location I tried). There is a nice kitchen area, clean bathroom, and an incredible patio area with direct sunlight most of the day. Very warm, quiet, and easy-​going atmosphere.
Overall, having tried several shared workspaces, I can say that Rezerv. It is my favorite. Message me if you want more details.

*Great location on Union Street, right next to the Coit tower and Washington Square (+5min. from downtown)
*Food options galore with Don Pisto’s, my favorite restaurant, right next door!
*Awesome building with a roof deck for BBQ’s!

This is a place to start your business! We’ve been here for 15 months and we’re not moving anywhere.

If there was an option to give this place a «6^th star» I would do it in a heartbeat. Taking the amazing location out of the equation (right in the heart of North Beach), this place is incredibly comfortable, clean and full of motivated friendly people.

Awesome coworking spot in North Beach.

This is a great co-​working place in the heart of North Beach. You not just get a work desk. No. You can also have a big cinema display. And there is a cool couch where you can sit down, relax and read some stuff on your iPad.
And there is big balcony. If the weather is sunny the
team is organizing a big BBQ. That is pretty good for networking :-)
The people are very casual and friendly. No business people in suites.
I really enjoyed my time here. It is a great place.

We started using our Virtual Office space with Rezerv. It in May 2011 and could not be happier! We do not live in the Bay Area and thus rely a lot on their remote services like mail handling. With larger franchises that serve in the area, the monthly rates were easily double that of Rezerv. It while providing fewer services. I cannot grasp why anyone would choose to go with another company.
As for the customer service portion, Hasan is extremely friendly and helpful. I believe that he will do all that he can to make us happy with his services without a second thought.
The only downside to Rezerv. It is that we live out of the area and are not around to take part in the co-​working events like mixers and BBQ’s.
For the price, this service cannot be beat. We would not have been able to start our business without Rezerv. It and will gladly stay with them as long as our business stays afloat!

I have been using Rezerv. It’s mail processing service for the past month and have only good things to say about it. Good people, good software, and overall a service that offers much more value than the other providers I looked at (including EarthClassMail). This also looks like a cool place for telecommuters and start-​ups looking for office space but I am not using these specific services, only the mail processing. Thumbs up!

It’s a great local co-​working option and a much needed addition to North Beach!

Coworking and Virtual Office is a great addition of affordable co-​working space in this part of town. Already when walking into the place the office space projects a cozy work ambience amongst other nice and friendly people. There is a big kitchen and a patio to allow a nice break with all amenities.
The desk areas are clean and inviting. The virtual office services are great for everyone in need to think and create something unique.
also offers meeting rooms for events and promotes its members within the community. I am a new member and can recommend the whole service package to anyone who wants to independently work within a community of cool and helpful people.
