Stacy was tremendously helpful, very friendly, and, even with a very busy Kaiser Center, willing to take time to talk through my injury(a broken thumb) and implications. Can’t recommend enough.

I completely agree with Clayton’s review here. I just had an appointment with Stacy today and she was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, took her time to provide thorough advice and has a very pleasant demeanor. My experience couldn’t have been better, with an MD or otherwise… I see a lot of potential in Stacy’s future as a doctor/surgeon if that’s where she decides to take her career.

I visited Stacy Garrison today at Kaiser’s injury & sports medicine office in SF, and I feel compelled to write a Unilocal review. It was one of the best doctor’s appointments I’ve ever had. I came in with questions about discomfort I’ve had in my knees lately. I described all the various activities that may be causing my symptoms, she asked me clarifying questions, and examined my knees by flexing and bending them, etc. We then talked at length about her diagnosis(runner’s knee) and recommended actions to help fix the situation. Technically Stacy is a Physician Assistant, not a MD, so I don’t know what to call her(I guess it’s not Dr. Garrison). But she was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, very personable, handled my knees with care as she examined them, extremely patient in answering my many questions, and very thorough in explaining her diagnosis and recommendations. The thing that impressed me most was that she related to me on a personal level because she runs and exercises a lot. And she spent the time to answer all of my questions, and never tried to rush me out to get to her next appointment. This is the first time I’ve not felt rushed at a Kaiser appointment, which was refreshing. If you’re a Kaiser member and you ever have orthopedic or sports injury questions, I highly recommended requesting to see Stacy. She was great!
