Stephen treated me for some crazy pain in my knee and I’m feeling great! I’ve never even heard of Rolfing but that combined with acupuncture makes me a very happy man! As a bonus I had had a toe pop out of its normal resting spot last May and he instantly aligned it, this dude rocks!

Stephen is amazing. He has helped me manage back & hip pain for the last four years when my only option seemed to be surgery. I can’t recommend him enough. The combination of PT and acupuncture just does the job and his diagnostic was spot on.

I call Steve a somatic genius. I hurt my back a week ago, couldn’t bend over, couldn’t turn over in bed, couldn’t get in and out of a car… after Steve, I am not in pain and I can now do all those things. I came home, the cat meowed and I bent over to pet her without even thinking about it!

Stephen is a star. Went to him twice with major lower back pain and within a day or 2 after, was completely healed. I will call Steve every time I have pain in the future. You should too.

Stephen has been treating me for lower back and sciatica with very good results. I knew the instant he laid his hands on my body, he knew what he was doing. He went directly to the «hot spots» and started working. And he also found other problem areas in my legs, butt and back. He provided a thorough assessment of the issues and recommended a course of treatment at the pace I desired. I’ve also had acupuncture before, to little effect. But I find it working with Stephen. I’ve seen many CMTs over the years and he is in the top 3 in San Francisco in my humble opinion. Nice guy, easy going, very knowledgeable, many years of expertise, never tries to sell you anything, explains things clearly, easy to schedule and his studio is very comfortable, quiet and warm. Parking is easy also. Stephen’s my man.

I went to Steve cause I couldn’t turn my torso from side to side. Within one hour, he figured out what was causing the issue, and I left with full mobility. INCREDIBLE. I’ve had this chronic back ache for years. And it never occured to any of the previous practitioners i gone to to actually SOLVE the PROBLEM. I would highly recommend Steve. He is an expert at ACTUALLY fixing people.

Steve is incredible. I went to him for the first time yesterday, and I will now recommend him to anyone and everyone. I am a dancer and runner and before I went to Steve, my achilles tendon hurt so bad that I couldn’t walk without pain. He spent more time with me than any other therapist I have gone to. He did a combination of deep tissue and acupuncture, and today I can actually walk without pain. I’m beyond impressed and will continue to go to Steve for any future injuries.

Back when I was doing a lot of dance, I would occasionally injure myself, and and Steve was the recommended go-​to person recommended by all the dancers. Indeed, the guy fixed things rapidly that I thought would take weeks. Years later (family life slowed down the dancing) he was able to help me resolve chronic tendonitis I had from doing tech work. He has a lots of methods integrated into that wise, experienced brain of his.

Steve has been able to help my chronic back pain with only a couple visits. I have seen other acupuncturists and bodyworkers, but his results are the most effective and long-​lasting. He is extremely knowledgeable and gifted. I have referred many people with back and shoulder pain to him, and they all come back with glowing reviews! But be forewarned: his bodywork treatment can get pretty intense. Most folks are scared of needles, but it’s his hands that are the secret weapon!
