A fine gay doctor with a friendly bedside manner who isn’t afraid to engage my silly sense of humor. On my first visit he worked up an extensive history with detailed questions that left me feeling very comfortable opening up about all aspects of my (sordid) past. Non-​judgmental and compassionate.

I am very particular about who I want to have as a doctor. And the worst part about it is that it’s very subjective. It’s kind of like — if we connect, and I feel like I can trust you, then I will stick with you forever.
I had my first visit today with Dr. Scheibel and it was one of the most comfortable visits I’ve ever had with a doctor. He was very comprehensive in asking me about my medical history, asking questions which made me think of things I hadn’t thought to include in my medical history. He took his time and made sure that we covered everything, which made me feel that he was doing a good job and I felt like I was listened to. And he’s got a great sense of humor and put me at ease.
This first visit made me feel like I’m in good hands.

I went to him with an ailment, his analysis of the ailment was accurate and gave me an injection. A month later, at the injection site there was something very wrong. I went to another doctor for a second opinion and immediately noticed I was given a shot that wasn’t water soluable, and a dosage that was too high causing tremendous scarring that will last more than 5 years. I would be very cautius.

I really like Dr. Scheibel. I ‘ve seen him twice and both times I was really impressed with his listening skills and willingness to tell me what he thought was best but also to adjust to what I was comfortable with. Officially my PCP is Lisa Sterman, but it is easier to get an appointment with Dr. Scheibel and I’ve already had two great experiences going to him.

Several months ago Dr. Sterman told me that her practice was adding a new physician, (Dr. Scheibel). She endorsed him fully, and told me to see him if she was unavailable. A short time later I booked an appointment with him when Dr. Sterman was out of the office. Dr. Scheibel is really a nice guy. His patient manner is similar to Dr. Stermans in that he puts you at ease during your consultation, and takes the time to listen to you. I have a nine year patient relationship with Dr. Sterman, I trust her judgment, and hold her in the highest regard. If you like Dr. Sterman as a primary care physician you will also like Dr. Scheibel.

I love Doctor Scheibel. I felt totally comfortable with him on my first appointment… he even gave me sample Rx to try before filling my prescriptions. Doctor Scheibel shares an office with Doctor Lisa Sterman.(yelp her) everybody loves her but it is really hard to get appointments within a month of calendar date…
Doctor Scheibel rocks, and I can easily get my appointments. I am very excited to have discovered Doctor Scheibel can be challenging to find a Primary care Physician that you like/​love. Yeahooo, I found an awesome doctor!!! (Super open minded & cool.)
