Summit 800

Several weeks ago, we went with our son to see Summit 800’s new homes over the weekend. Shoreh, one of the sales agents, greeted us warmly and took us for a tour to the homes. We fell in love right away with all the model homes. They are very modern and well laid out. We, like many, have been looking for a San Francisco homes without much luck because of either condition or price. In the end we were able to get the home we wanted with the help of Shoreh. I can’t thank her and Summit enough for making our dream of owning a home in SF come true!

Toured the models and left thinking the development was pricey, but unlike old city condos, a contemporary layout, closets, lovely master bathrooms, modern kitchens, and full size washer/​dryer sets. Tandem garages, so difficult to secure in the city are part of the building,
It was confusing to see models designed with multiple upgrades bringing the model up to an indeterminate extra cost. For example, some bathrooms and walk-​in closets were customized and larger than normal. The marble floors displayed and some kitchen appliances were not standard grade.
There were no elevators, lots of stairs for the townhouse-​style units. The community emphasizes reduced energy consumption via solar power and tankless hot water heaters.
Some residences had tiny patios, others, balconies. They also had a free-​standing model home. Three bedrooms is the norm in this development. There is a reasonable HOA
For San Francisco to see new housing close to a huge shopping mall and parks is exciting news. It’s about 45 minutes from the city center.

I was a little torn about all the trees on Brotherhood Way being torn down to make way for condos. When I first visited the model homes, I was impressed. I thought the interiors were very nice & all of the appliances were top of the line. However, the customer service was lacking.
We started with the «C» units. By the time we were done with the A’s, we headed towards the single residence unit, B. Turns out, one of the ladies started closing the unit and locked it down. I noticed that she was inside and there were about 10 people outside waiting. She saw us too, so we waited for her so that we can quickly tour the house. By the time she walked out, she had stated to lock the doors, and refused to let us in. She scolded us and said that last tours were at 4:30p, and there was nothing she can do. I told her it was 4:55p, and they were supposed to close at 5p. She just walked away while a few of us were yelling at her.
I would have considered buying one of these ridiculously price condos, but to think that I’m going to put down over $ 1 million dollars, and that’s how they treat potential customers? People all around me were saying, «it doesn’t seem like they want our business».
No matter how sumptuous you think you are, it doesn’t mean squat if you don’t have customer service. To have a sales person walk away from you because the tour was over was pretty offensive. This type of behavior might work at your local fast food restaurant, but not for $ 1 million + homes. I’d stay away from this pretentious place.
