Since moving to the City, I’ve been on the lookout for a new boba place to frequent. After a full month of extensive searching, I think I’ve found the place! Super Cue makes very consistent tea and I’ve been happy with my drinks so far. Their boba can be bit on the overcooked side but it’s passable. They actually brew the tea to order so you know it’s real tea and not just tea flavor powder. I will be coming back more than I should in the days to come.

Love the genmaicha milk tea hot and 70% sweet. Tastes pretty good every time I order it. Got the high mountain oolong milk tea cold with less sugar today and all I can taste is bitter. Yuck

Firstly, and most importantly, the boba is excellent. Chewy, sweet, and you can tell it’s freshly made! Their tea selection is nothing to sneeze at, either. They have both normal milk tea options as well as «teaspresso», for those who don’t like their tea flavor diluted with milk. Personally, I’m more of teaspresso guy, having tried their normal green tea, roasted green tea(hojicha), and high mountain oolong. They’re all great, but my personal favorite is the high mountain green tea. If you’re a fan of more powerful tea, I would recommend the hojicha, it’s deep. It’s definitely my goal now to try all the different teas they have. They just have such a great selection, more than almost any boba store I’ve ever been to. As for the service, there’s been two times when they made a milk tea instead of the teaspresso I ordered and immediately insisted that they make it right. «It has to be perfect!» exclaimed one of the workers. It’s this kind of dedication and passion for good tea and service that keeps me coming again. :D

Super Cue is SUPERCUTE. Y’all know I am always craving bubble tea, so while staying in the Ingleside District, I knew I had to try one of their bubble tea places. There was a line to the door when I went, but it moved pretty quickly and they get the drinks out to you quickly, too. I ordered a honey milk tea with boba and less ice. It was amazing. Seriously probably the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. The boba were PERFECT. The texture was everything I could want in boba. The flavor was great and not too sweet, which is just how I like it. I’m sad we don’t seem to have any of these in Texas because I sure will miss it, but I’m glad I got to try it at least once. They do have a rewards program, so if you live in the area, I say sign up for it. I did not since these don’t exist where I live, which is sad. Come to Austin, Super Cue!

Love this boba place! Best boba place around! The price is definitely fair and the customer service is really great! I especially love the jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly or the taro milk tea! So good

I haven’t been to the Taraval location yet, but I must say that I really liked the drinks here. I ordered through DoorDash, which is super convenient if you’re too lazy to drive! Anyway, I ordered a taro milk tea for my brother with less ice, less sugar, boba, and fresh taro. I ordered a peach oolong milk tea for myself with less ice, less sugar, boba, and mango stars. Then lastly, I ordered a litchi milk tea for my mom with less ice, less sugar, boba, and lychee jelly. My brother really liked the taro milk tea because he doesn’t like his drinks too sweet and the fresh taro added a bit of sweetness without being overwhelming. My mom enjoyed her litchi milk tea and would get it again. I also enjoyed my peach oolong milk tea because I could taste the oolong with a hint of peach and with the mango stars it added a nice combination. I also think their boba is cooked perfectly, not super chewy, but not hard either. I placed another order the following day for 2 taro milk teas with less ice, tiny sugar, boba, egg pudding, and fresh taro. One of the workers called me to let me know that they only had enough fresh taro for only one drink and asked me if I wanted another topping and I couldn’t think of anything and she suggested red bean, so that’s what I had. I was surprised that this time our drinks were in the chubby cups, but I’m assuming it’s because there were a lot of toppings that it would fit better in the chubby cups. Nonetheless, my drink was still pretty tasty with the sweetness and texture of the red bean. Overall, I would order from them again. Good drinks, good boba, and good customer service!

Great service, delish drinks. My toddler loves their watermelon slush w/o sugar. Gets intimidatingly busy w/class let’s out but line moves quickly as does delivery of drinks. Be back forsure!

All right. So I gave them another chance. Last time I went, they didn’t have any boba. I went back again and tried their avocado smoothie with boba and it’s really good! I saw them make it with real avocados(no fake flavors or powder). And their boba is really awesome as well. I love how they use their«teapresso» for their tea drinks. Give them a shot– they won’t disappoint.

I got the peach oolong tea with crystal boba. The tea was really strong so if you like sweeter drinks I don’t recommend this one. Although, the peach flavor was good, especially on a hot day. The crystal boba however was not something I would get again. I’ve never had this before so I didn’t know what to expect but it was very hard with little to no flavor. The cup it comes in is a good serving size and cost about $ 4.

Similar to the Super Cue on Taraval, this newer one on Ocean Ave is just as warm and stuffy inside with poor ventilation. However, if ambient temperature permits, this Super Cue is nice and cozy with a small seating area. Their boba texture isn’t always consistent, as I’ve had both good days and bad days. But on a good day, Super Cue’s boba is soft and chewy without being overly mushy or hard. The extensive menu covers black, green, and herbal teas. Add-ons such as boba, jellies, or crema are extra. I’m a fan of their roasted brown rice(Genmaicha) milk tea, with less sugar. The nutty, roasted flavor of the tea really shines through, and it’s a good alternative to Craftea’s version, which once existed on Taraval St(RIP Craftea). Another personal favorite is the peach oolong tea, which is sweet, crisp, and refreshing. The service is good, but there’s a little bit of wait time when making the drinks. Also, if you’re unsatisfied with your drink, they’ll gladly remake it for you. Ocean Ave isn’t well-known for good restaurants, but I’m content with a Super Cue here, and the late hours are very accommodating — until 11pm or 12am, depending on which days of the week!

Omg please teach the workers how to communicate with customers. I used to love coming here when it first opened. The customer service was good the workers used to make my drink correctly. When they were unclear about my order they would simply repeat my order to make sure it was correct. There was ones this worker that even made sure my order was done correctly bc I’m lactose intolerant and my drink was so shaken up it looked as if there was milk in it Now it seems that everyone I go there they make my drinks wrong The last time I came the store was super loud So I asked the cashier for my usual which was the black mango tea with a mango jelly(love mango) I guise the cashier count hear me bc he gave me a mango milk tea with mango [remember the drinks are often very shaken up] so I took a large sip and came to realize that there was milk in it(which gave a very bad stomach pain to very much) And they should stay constant with their ingredient measurement. The first time I bough my 6 year old cousin the green tea latte with green been she loved it(it was just the right amount of sweetness) The second time I bough it for her she immediately spit it out when she took a sip it and almost started crying bc the drink was so bitter(she tough I was playing a mean prank on her) (Again thank you for making me looks I love bulling my baby cousin)

Not all boba places are created equal. Not only do they know my drink, but they are consistent enough in their recipes that each of our family members has been able to tailor their drinks to our exact preference specifications. Need more reasons why you should get here… – They are open late. – They are fast, so even when there is a line, it’s no problem. – Their bathroom is clean. – They are in the Ingleside, a great neighborhood with lots of other restaurants, shops, services, etc. – Parking is easy. – They use Five Star rewards system. Seriously, this is our go to place for my family that includes some very discerning teenagers, so you will not be disappointed. PS: Not sure why people like crystal boba. *gag*

So, I chose to come to this Super Cue because it closes late and I need a place to do work. As I’m driving looking for the shop I saw it crowded so that was when I said FML. I won’t be able to get a table. Took me awhile to find parking and walked towards the shop. From what I saw of the pictures of the mini sitting area: it is really mini. So mini I had to drop one star. Other than that I ordered a regular Thai Tea with boba and the drink was done in 2 mins tops.

LOLLL Westwood park??? I’ve always just known that area by super cue as ocean ave or ingleside! But I learn something new everyday even though I was born and raised here in sf. Lolllll But back to the milk tea! I love the genmai milk tea with grass jelly here in super cue! The milk tea tastes heavily of the genmai tea and it’s super light! The milk doesn’t cover the taste of the tea and it compliments it very well. Also I love their grass jelly. It kinda also adds a bit of sweetness into the drink without me having to add too much sugar. I always only get 30% in sweetness.

#18 I came here on a Friday night, 45 minutes before closing because all the tea places around me decided to close once I started craving for some milk tea. I walked in expecting the workers to be unfriendly and annoyed since it was late, but they weren’t! They were patient and greeted me as I walked in. Not to mention, they had already started cleaning. + Peach mango milk tea — I could only taste the mango and not the peach. I asked for the tea to be strong but it only comes in the regular strength. + Thai tea — way too diluted. + Boba — not bad. Very chewy and sweet. Its a small and cute shop that seems to be well-liked. The tea could’ve been off because I came in at a bad time. If I ever have another late night craving for boba and everything’s closed, I’ll probably stop by here and try their oolong tea.

I’m definitely a regular here and I love how they open late! All their tea drinks are made from the teaspresso machine and you can never go wrong here if you’re trying to get the real tea flavor. My go-to is the genmaicha milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. It never fails me and I love the genmaicha tea itself, so the tea flavor really shines in the drink. $ 3.50 seems a bit steep, but it’s the quality of the tea that keeps me back here. They are pretty quick with the drinks, but sometimes it does get crowded. I would definitely recommend people this as a local boba tea place in the Ingleside. Also; great selections of oolong, jasmine, black, rose, genmaicha, green, matcha, hojicha and many more. I love the rose milk tea because you can really taste the flavor of the rose, but it’s not too much. The peach oolong is also really good because you can really taste the peach and it’s from the tea, not syrup. Parking: Ocean Ave are all meters, but you can head toward the back for free residential parking! Tables: There’s a bar with 4 – 5 stools and 3 tables, but would not recommend if you are in a big group. 4 or less = can hang out at the place. Also!!! Don’t forget to register for five star rewards program. 10 drinks = 1 free drink and they also have promotions for your birthday and sometimes buy one get one free deals. Definitely recommend the FiveStar Rewards program =]

I’ve tried milk tea from a bunch of different Super Cues locations, and this location is lacking in flavor. It’s pretty watered down, and the tea flavor is not as prominent here nor is it as sweet. The one on Taraval is much better when it comes to flavor. Service is good, and there’s actual seating here so that’s a plus.

I’m glad Super Cue opened up a spot on Ocean because now I have two choices of boba… One near my house, and one near my bf’s house. Ha! Service is faster here than at the Taraval location(which can sometimes take up to 15 minutes for one drink…)!! I USED to get the peach melon green tea here… But they stopped serving that flavor recently and I was so disappointed! Now I go for peach green tea or mango green tea. The boba is usually soft, chewy, sugary, and sometimes even warm here(my fave!) because they don’t get as much foot traffic as Taraval, so it’s more consistent. I’ve had undercooked boba at Taraval and it was awful. One more great thing, they take card here! Very convenient for the people that don’t carry cash all the time. They also have the FiveStar loyalty program… Buy 10 drinks and get one free, wahoo!

Been wanting to try this place especially after coming back from Taiwan where I drank boba pretty much everyday! We originally went to the one on Taravel but they are currently closed because of staff training!(how inconvenient!) Loved their tea though! I ordered the hojicha milk tea and my bf ordered the osmanthus milk tea with taro pudding, both were very good! They have many selections to choose from and sample teas to try! Staff is very friendly and there is about 6 seats inside if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. The area can be cold some times so it’s better to have the option of sitting inside while drinking boba! There is meter parking outside the store but street parking a block over so it is very convenient. Will definitely come again to try the other teas. Each drink can be customized for sweetness and can be made hot or cold(no ice to regular ice) so it is nice that they cater to people who may like their drinks less sweet!

Im lowering the star from 5 to 3 because today they messed up my drink. I asked them if they were gonna throw it away and they said yes. I hate wasting food, I just said ok then I will just drink it. They should’ve offered to give it to me for free AND make me a new drink. But customer service is definitely lacking here. Now its sitting in my desk and I dont even want to drink it. Waste of $ 5 :(
