This is my neighborhood taqueria. This is a family business and it shows. Everyone is always very welcoming and nice. I really like their burritos and their or in chile verde. They’re my go to spot when I don’t feel like cooking. Check them out!

Very friendly staff, ambiance fine, food was OK tasty. Got some super chicken burritos take out last night for the family which were pretty good– not outstanding but certainly more than adequate. But I have to deduct two stars since everyone got bits of bone and gristle which is fairly off-putting. One of us just stopped eating.

This place is amaZing, best place in the city. If you’re a vegetarian and tired of getting low grade Mexican burritos you need to make this a stop! Veggies taste so damn good! Staff is always nice, prices are good, place is clean +cute! Love it! XVida. I bring all my friends here :)

Ceviche tostada… using canned tuna. Very sad for a Mexican restaurant. Ordered mole poblano — not edible. Dry rice, strange smell to the chicken. Got overcharged at the end …

Came here for dinner the other night on a Thursday. It wasn’t busy when we walked in so we got a table right away. Waitress was friendly and service was good. I had the fish taco and the carnitas taco — both were tasty, not the best I’ve had but tasty. My husband had a burrito which he enjoyed. I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it, but if in the neighborhood, it’s good.

Approved! Had a regular bean taco salad and fish taco as a snack on a Saturday afternoon with the husband. Was the perfect light meal. Nice seating outside, albeit limited, and lots of seating inside. Will be back!

I have one word for you: TINGA TINGA is the chipotle marinated beef. I have only had it here. I dream about it. Other than the tinga meat this place is very standard. 5 stars for tinga. Srsly.

Great Mexican food! I had a chicken burrito which was delicious. Want it a bit spicier, sure, here’s a bottle of fresh habanero sauce to help with that. Very reasonably priced and delicious is how I would sum this place up!

I must have ordered the wrong menu items. Order two chicken items, one mole and one that was cooked in some sort of tomato sauce. The chicken was rough and dry. The mole sauce was bland compared to other mole I’ve had.

They are our neighborhood go to place for fresh Mexican food. I am addicted to their chile verde. I enjoy their burritos, and the taco salads are generous, fresh and tasty. Also, they make their own chips which are delicious with the pico de gallo salsa they serve. The staff is very kind and friendly.

I don’t care what y’all think: the mushroom quesadilla is awesome and goes great with a glass of sangria.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. I come here for the super shrimp burrito. It’s never let me down and keeps me oh so happy. Thank you for being my neighborhood joint.

It really disgusts me that the only reason people go here is because they’re too scared to go to the mission for some real Mexican food. If you can’t even walk two blocks to eat at a sub-par Mexican food place, it just shows how gentrified Bernal has become. This place shouldn’t even be considered a Mexican food restaurant. This is a place that serves rice and beans(disgusting ones, might I add) …and the meat. is it meat? or cat food?.. Dog food? Who knows, but its not carne asada! This place is gross and every time I walk past this place I rack my head, over and over, and try and fine a reason why there’s people inside! What is wrong with people these days?.. People of Bernal Heights, let’s ban together and boycott this horrible, so called Mexican food joint, and get a REAL Mexican food place on Cortland!

One of my favorite places to eat when I come down to San Francisco, great food but most importantly they make me feel at home and I strongly recommend it.

Well this is the only Mexican place on my block. I think it’s nice and cozy in the place and the food is alright and all. Its just they charge for chips. It’s priced reasonably and the food is Ok. The burritos are good but the pepper that they put in it I hate. Otherwise burritos are good, the tacos are amazing and they are a must. This is the place if you want to have a quick Mexican meal that’s kinda cheap and has good tacos and burritos!

I don’t know what took me so long to try this place since I drive by it quite often, living in Bernal Heights. It is truly a hiden Mexican gem on Cortland. I ordered(to go) Huevos Rancheros and it was DELICIOUS. The restaurant itself is very cute, and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. They really have quite a menu. I will definately be back. Highly recommend! And parking seemed pretty easy.

Me and my partner have been on sort of a half intentional Nacho Quest for the last couple months and probably have had Super Nachos more then a half dozen times. We researched blogs, Unilocal.and city periodicals for the best Nachos in town. This place has, so far, been the best. All aspects of the Nachos were perfect. The quality and flavor of the meat was awesome; very tender with no gristle. The house made tortilla chips were thick and resistant to sogging, even at the bottom of the plate, Perfect amount of cheese and toppings(we asked for extra cilantro). I’m holding back a star simply because this was my first time and I’ve only had the nachos, but if they are a sign of the rest of the menu, this place is a 5!
