In my dream last night I told some old lady «Salamat po!»
That would not have been possible had I not taken the beginner course. Furthermore, the volunteer hours discount system eased the cost. I knew the least Tagalog (read: none, zero) among the classmates that I had, but the atmosphere was still encouraging and fun. Also, the in-​class cooking activity was the bomb.
I need to take more classes so I can do more than thank people when I dream, not to mention when I’m awake.
