I had my doubts that Taka could capture all of the variations in the hair of my client’s labradoodle… all for nothing! He did a GREAT job! Wonderful colors of various shades of black, silver, & grey intertwined in her curly coat. What a wonderful artist! Captured her perfectly! Taka works quickly, from the time I first sent him a couple of pictures to the time it was ready was literally days, not weeks! Very reasonable for a man of his talents! Check out his website! My client, I’m sure, will be so delighted to have this portrait of her beloved pup.

I’ve received portraits of each of my two dogs as gifts. The picture of my Boston Terrier, Stubby, hangs in my living room. Milo’s picture is in my bedroom. Each portrait seems to capture my dog. Milo’s picture in particular gets his eyes just right and soulful. Taka is truly gifted.

I commissioned Taka to do a portrait of my son’s dog Tito, who had been diagnosed with Lymphoma recently and we didn’t know what the future would hold. He captured his essence perfectly and we are thrilled with the portrait. It’s Tito through and through! Happily, little Tito is doing well with treatment and his prognosis is good.
Taka is a very gifted painter. His work is meticulous and very lifelike. From start to finish, the turnaround is surprisingly quick. I highly recommend him for portraiture and more. You’ll be very satisfied with his work.
